Story
Meet the amazing Maze. She is obedience trained, great with kids and a lover of tennis balls, soccer balls, and all sport balls. Our Maze is an 8 year old boxer/American Bulldog mix who weighs 57 lbs. Why is she so amazing? This gal has received obedience training, knows hand signals, can bark on command, and loves to play ball. She loves the water too! We took her out to our agility course and she caught on pretty darn quick. She is deaf but that hasnt impacted her enjoyment of life at all.Maze is very loving and active. Our gal loves to be with her humans and especially so if they rub her butt. She does amazing with kids and is ok with cats but is picky about her doggie friends so she needs to be the only dog in the home Amazing Maze is extremely food motivated and will act like she is starving! lol.. Maze also likes to sit on the couch with her human and give gentle kisses. She also loves to go for car rides! She went for a day out with some volunteers and had a blast playing ball, exploring the water, getting lovin and just enjoying life. Check out the video of her day out and you will appreciate how truly amazing this dog is.Maze's ideal home would be where she is the queen and has adults or kids who would love to play ball with her in the backyard, take her for car rides, and snuggle on the couch. We really would love to get Maze out of the kennel and into a loving home. Just take a look at that video again and apply to adopt at www.caninecollective.org!

Meet Mo, a 5 year old Boxer/American Bulldog mix who weighs about 75 lbs. Mo is very good with other dogs , is housetrained, and good on the leash. Neutered and fully vaccinated. This good boy is very hard of hearing, so his ideal home would be an owner who is experienced with deaf dogs or who is willing to learn to use non verbal commands. If you're interested in Mo, apply at www.caninecollective.org.

Story
Meet Drifter, one heck of a happy good boy! If you like your dogs uncomplicated calm and happy, Drifter is your boy! Drifter is a sweet good natured dawg who loves people and is great with other dogs. He also enjoys belly rubsDrifter is a 5 year old 41 lb mixed breed. Our best guess is he has some boxer and lab but he is 100% sweet. He is on the short side but pretty muscular. Drifter is pretty good on the leash, but does 'drift' from side to side. Drifter attended a couple of pets store events and did great! But warning: he is a shoplifter and cost his handler $15! You just cant say no to those pleading eyes. During his photo shoot, his tail was constantly wagging! Our boy would love to find his forever home! Could that be yours? Apply at www.caninecollective.org.

Story
ABOUT ME… Hi, I’m Basil! I was born in rescue on January 16, 2025, and I’m the very last of my litter still looking for my furever home. I’m a boxer mix (my mama is 49 lbs of classic boxer and happily in her furever home, but dad’s a total mystery!), and I’ve got a big heart packed into my now 24-pound, 3-month-old self. Lately, I’ve been full of puppy energy. I love getting the zoomies and racing around like a little rocket! But don’t worry, I’m still a total cuddlebug and will happily climb right into your lap (yes, I do believe with all my heart and mind that I still fit. What is it cats say? “If I fits, I sits”? That’s so me!). I like hanging out by your feet when you’re cooking and will always be your #1 kitchen helper and taste tester. I’ve started exploring outside more and am very curious about the world, watching movement in the yard and checking out what the neighbors are up to. I adore my toys, I love treats (seriously, I get SO excited!), and I enjoy playing either on my own or with other animals, like my foster siblings. I've even become a bit of a charming opportunist. I recently managed to sneak a treat out of a basket at the vet’s office. I mean, if it’s within reach, isn’t that an open invitation? I’m also an A+ co-pilot. I ride shotgun like a champ, switching between peeking out the window and curling up next to my foster mom for a nap. Total road trip vibes. I’ve been through a couple of returns (my foster mom and everyone who knows me says it’s their loss!), which set me back a little with my potty training, but I’m bouncing back beautifully and diligently on a routine. I surprised everyone by growling when I saw my brother at the vet. Apparently, I didn’t want to share all the pets and love I was soaking up from the staff. I mean, a guy’s got to soak up the spotlight when he gets the chance, right? (Is this MY toxic trait??) I AM GOOD WITH… All people Other dogs Crate time Car rides (excellent travel companion!) I’M WORKING ON… Potty training (doing great on a routine!) Leash training If you're looking for a playful, affectionate pup with a heart of gold, a dash of mischief, and a lot of love to give, I might just be your guy. I can’t wait to meet you! ___ VETTING... ~All animals in our care are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (age 1 & up), given preventatives, and provided with initial vaccinations AT MINIMUM. ~If booster shots have not been completed prior to adoption, they may be completed at our clinic in Columbus, OH at no additional expense. TERMS & CONDITIONS... ~Adopters must reside in the State of Ohio. ~No transportation assistance is provided; adopter must commute for meet & greet. ~Meet & greets are not scheduled until there is an approved adoption application on file. ~The expectation is that you will bring your new pet home from the meet & greet, if all goes well.
