Story
Yellow Lab/Pitbull/Mix DOB:  Approx.  08/07/23 Goldie Girl is the darling of our program.  She was found wandering down the street in a neighborhood.  She was lost, scared.  Her little tail was tucked between her legs, her little paws were raw from walking and looking for her owners who drove away after removing her collar. Goldie was seen walking up and down the streets for several days...looking, walking, running to each person that she saw until she realized it wasn't who she was looking for.  Finally, a kind neighbor went out to her, and talked to her quietly and told her that everything would be okay.  And she said that Goldie looked at her...really looked at her....and she untucked her tail and she wagged it just a little bit.  For the first few days, Goldie sat by the door, watching and waiting for her owner to return.  It was heartbreaking.  But as time went on, she started to play and follow the other dogs in the home around.  And even though the sadness was still there, in her eyes sometimes and when she saw someone come to the door, we saw her true self start to shine through. Goldie loves other dogs. She is sweet and loves them all.  She is even good with cats.  She is just a sweet girl.  She has learned to "sit", is mastering potty training, and is learning to go into a crate and not be sad.  But most of all, she is a cuddler.  She wants to cuddle all of the time....she wants to be right next to her people...probably so they don't leave her again.  She is learning to be carefree and happy again and she LOVES to play and run and jump.  She is finally feeling happy...and Goldie will make a sweet addition and best friend for someone.  But we ask that if you adopt her and promise to be her person that you promise to be her person forever.  Goldie's heart would be broken if this happens to her again.  So if you can open your home and your heart to Goldie for the rest of her life, please complete an on-line Adoption Application at https://www.jotform.com/form/223107373504044 and meet the best little girl who will make you finally understand what it means to be unconditionally loved!

Story
Meet the amazing Maze. She is obedience trained, great with kids and a lover of tennis balls, soccer balls, and all sport balls. Our Maze is a 7 year old boxer/American Bulldog mix who weighs 47 lbs. Why is she so amazing? This gal has received obedience training, knows hand signals, can bark on command, and loves to play ball. She loves the water too! We took her out to our agility course and she caught on pretty darn quick. She is deaf but that hasnt impacted her enjoyment of life at all.Maze is very loving and active. Our gal loves to be with her humans and especially so if they rub her butt. She does amazing with kids and is ok with cats but is picky about her doggie friends so she needs to be the only dog in the home Amazing Maze is extremely food motivated and will act like she is starving! lol.. Maze also likes to sit on the couch with her human and give gentle kisses. She also loves to go for car rides! She went for a day out with some volunteers and had a blast playing ball, exploring the water, getting lovin and just enjoying life. Check out the video of her day out and you will appreciate how truly amazing this dog is.Maze's ideal home would be where she is the queen and has adults or kids who would love to play ball with her in the backyard, take her for car rides, and snuggle on the couch. We really would love to get Maze out of the kennel and into a loving home. Just take a look at that video again and apply to adopt at www.caninecollective.org!

Story
Justice is a 21 month old boxer mix who weighs about 43 lbs. She is a sweet little mamma who loves two things: people, and tennis balls. She loves getting to play around with her people, whether that be fetch with a tennis ball or tug-o-war, but sometimes she likes to just be able to snuggle up on the couch and watch some TV. She can be hit or miss with other dogs, depending on how well they respond to her excitable nature. Justice would do great in a home with very patient dogs with a high tolerance for silliness, because she loves to romp and jump. She does have a high prey drive so your yard likely will be squirrel and rabbit free. We would recommend a home without cats or small dogs. .Shes a very goofy girl and an absolute sweetheart looking for a loving home.We think you will fall in love with her. Just apply at www.caninecollective.org.

Story
Hey Everyone, Ben here! I am a loving 43 lb 2 year old boxer mix boy who would love to find an adventurous family that I can explore with. I enjoy other dogs and dont mind sharing my home with another pup. I am a bit jumpy and sometimes i get REALLY excited for treats so I think I would do best in a home with older kids who I wont knock over or try to snag treats from. I have a good amount of energy and enjoy going on walks or playing outside. If you think i am a good fit for your family you can apply at www.canincecollective.orgSee you soon!Ben

Story
We adopted Bailey from a rescue in January 2018. Bailey was part of a litter that was rescued after their mother was hit by a car. Her estimated birthdate is November 2017. She’s been great with our children, both of which she’s been with since they were born. Bailey is a proud protector of her home and family. There was a cat in the home when Bailey was a puppy, which she handled well. However, she has been the only animal in the home for several years now so we don’t know how she would do with other pets. Bailey is potty trained and crate trained, sometimes spending up to 8 hours in the cage during the work day. She’s a high energy dog and it’s unfair for us to keep her confined for so long. Bailey loves to run and would enjoy a fenced in yard. She does have a history of seizures which she is medicated for, and she has not had breakthrough seizure activity with her current medication regimen which she has been on for a year at least. She does well with boarding when we travel.

Story
Gypsys DNA test results are mostly Boxer, Husky, and German Shepherd. She bounces on her front legs when she is excited or wants something (we now know that comes from the Boxer in her). Gypsy is around 5 years of age and weighs around 75 pounds. Gypsy has been with us for 3 years, and we don't know why she has not been adopted yet. She is a very good girl and is the most obedient dog we have ever seen. She knows how to sit and comes when called. She is housetrained and very well behaved in the house. She likes her crate and sleeps in it with the door open. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. Gypsy loves her toys, especially squeaky ones, and she loves playing fetch. Gypsy is active - she loves to run and play with toys and other dogs. She loves water and lays in the wading pool when it is hot, and we bet she would love snow. She gets excited about squirrels, cats, and critters on the other side of the fence. Gypsy loves human attention and is good with older children. Gypsy is smart and might benefit from more obedience training from someone firm, patient, and loving. Gypsy is a sweet dog. She gets attached to her human and likes to lay under my desk when I work on the computer. Gypsy must be in the house as a loved family member. She must be walked on a leash and have a yard with a 6' fence to run and play. To emphasize...although Gypsy generally gets along with all dogs (she currently lives in a home with 14 other dogs both large and small and there are no problems), She either needs to be the only dog in the house or only paired with one other large male dog. Gypsy has been with the rescue for 3 years and a change will be scary. She needs an experienced adopter who is patient understanding, and willing to give her the time she needs to get comfortable in a new home. She is a great dog for a single person or couple. Any children should be over 10 years of age. Gypsy spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Gypsy had a light case of heartworms when we first got her. She is now heartworm-free and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Gypsy is located in Texas but can be transported after she is adopted. Her adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to several scheduled stops in Ohio - including but not limited to - Columbus, Cincinnati, and Akron OH Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this very good girl.
