Story
It's time for  a very special introduction....our sweet, special boy Samson, or as his foster family calls him... Scooter &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143  Scoot came to the rescue in February of 2023 as a puppy. He's an extra special guy with some extra special needs.  He's mostly paralyzed in the back end and is also incontinent...but let us tell you, that doesn't slow him down one bit! He is silly and playful and extra sweet.  Upon entering his foster home, Scoot started hydrotherapy, which has helped him immensely. He's able to use his back legs some but mostly scoots around and still needs a wheelchair for walks and outings.  In addition, Scooter went to a neurologist in Columbus so we could figure out what caused this and if it was fixable. We got our answer pretty quickly... Neosporosis.  Neospora is a parasite that was passed to him in utero from his mom. It paralyzes muscles. He started antibiotics immediately to kill the parasite and keep it from doing further damage. We can't fix Scoot, he is how he is...which is PERFECT!  Scooter takes daily meds to help with his urinary incontinence, probiotics, and a joint supplement.  He is loved beyond measure in his foster home, even though he's  a little "extra." However, the time has come to let him spread his wings and fly in his forever home &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Samson is great with other dogs, kids and cats. Apply today! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. Hello! I'm Yuki! My interests revolve around playing! I love to play with dogs, cats, kids, and especially toys! I have lots of energy and would love to spend time playing with my family. When I'm done playing, I like to cuddle. The closer the better. I am deaf, so I don't mind a loud house! I am learning to make eye contact with my foster family so I can learn basic commands. Without much training, I am already very good at being in the crate, potty training, and going for car rides. I would love to play with you! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
Meet Lillith, Lilly for short. Lilly was on the euthanasia list at the Preble County Warden's office. We were able to "pull" this sweet girl and get her into foster care where she has gone from skin and bones to a joyful, thriving, beautiful girl. Lilly's DOB is 12/11/19. She is crate and potty-trained. Lilly likes to watch birds and squirrels. She will chase them a bit. She loves to look for treats in the yard and she loves belly rubs. Lilly has gotten used to being wiped down with a wet towel. She's not a fan of getting her teeth brushed or cutting her toenails but she'll let you do it. She's always down for a walk. Lilly loves to cuddle with her humans but is a bit picky with her dog friends. She does ok with male dogs but definitely not females. It might be better if she doesn't have to share all the snuggles with any dogs. If you would like to give Lilly her happily ever after please fill out an application.

Story
I am rehoming Sadie for a friend of mine who just wasn’t able to keep up with her needs. She has been kept up in a bedroom for majority of her life and was severely malnourished when I discovered her. She longs for company and to be able to freely run outside, so a fenced in backyard is preferred. She is the sweetest dog ever and will try her hardest to not let you down. She just wants affection. She has the best “SIT” I’ve ever seen and I wish I could take her myself but I already have 2 dogs and am relocating soon. Because Sadie was underfed for so long, her stomach is sensitive and has to go quite often. But she will always let you know she has to go, and is very sad and ashamed when she can’t hold it. Which isn’t her fault, but she has been treated as so. I’m not sure if her exact age and breed, but am sure she is a loving and sweet girl with a hysterical personality that deserves lots of space and attention

Story
Hi, my name is Montgomery but my friends call me Monty! I'm a pretty handsome fella. I'm quite the mix of breeds but they all equal AMAZING! Take a look at my pics to see my DNA test. I'm good with kids and other dogs. I'm super energetic and love to play fetch. I had a rough start to life and have some medical issues - nothing major! The nice people at MVPC and MedVet have taken great care of me. I had an FHO in hopes of bettering my quality of life. I had what their vet is describing as birth deformity’s in both his back leg/hip, and front leg, and while I do walk and run a little funny, the Vet has assured us all that my quality of life is good and with the right owner I should be able to live comfortably for a long time. I also have arthritis in his front leg and may require anti inflammatories to be comfortable for the long term. BUT, I have been cleared for adoption and is “as good as it gets” moving forward. Even though I may move a little funny it doesn't slow me down one bit! I'm ready to find my forever family to love and live my best life! ADOPTION FEE: $300 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 6/09/2023 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Required CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME - If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $300 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. IF YOU ARE GOING ON VACATION OR ARE NOT YET READY TO PROCEED PLEASE APPLY WHEN YOU ARE.*** INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25.

Story
Hi, my name is Jaxx & I am looking for my forever family! The most important thing to know about me is that I love my foster mom. I know that it’s my job to keep her safe & she loves to hike with me!! I weigh 90 lbs but I am dainty on a leash. I see & hear everything & no one sneaks up on me!! I make my mom feel really safe. I love car rides, long naps on the couch & I am cool in a crate but I would prefer to nap on the couch all day!!  I am a big boy & I look intimidating ( I have serious resting bitch face) but I’m kind of a big chicken. New people make me nervous so I need a little bit of time to make friends!  I have lived with both dogs & cats in the past & i got along with some but not others.  I’m cool with other dogs on the trails because I know that I’m supposed to focus on my mom! I have a foster dad too. He’s cool. He gives good treats but I LOVE my mom ( & she says it’s adorable!!)  Do you need a big, beefy guy to make you feel safe?? I promise you won’t regret falling in love with me because I will love you back with my whole heart!!  ~ Love, Jaxx All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. My name is Mugsy! I'm a big, lovable, goofy 4-year-old boy and about 55 lbs!! I love to go on car rides and I love to be on your lap, but my foster mom says I can't do that when she's driving (*eye roll*). I just want to be with my peeps! I love toys, I really love treats & I'm great in my crate. I would do best as the only 4 legged baby in your home. I am unfortunately not great with every dog. I make up for it by being wonderful with every person and I LOVE kids!! I want to live the life of being a spoiled rotten baby that I know I deserve! Oh, and did I mention that I'm gorgeous? Just look at my squishy face! I'm the best dog ever! At least that’s what my foster mom says.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.
