Jasmine is a 10 1/2 year old 59.2 lb female boxer beagle mix. She's is spayed, up to date on shots, potty trained but needs let out every few hours so no accidents. Loves to sleep next to you. Good with other dogs and kids not cats. Lot dog energy for her age but she is mainly calm and spends her day sleeping. Loves to cuddle and sleep under blankets. Will howl when excited or nervous but it is very quiet. She knows how to sit and shake and lay down.

Laila is a 3yr old spayed female Boxer/ Pitbull mix. Laila came to us as part of a cruelty case. Laila was loved but never received vet care or proper food. She had a terrible flea infestation and was missing a lot of hair. She was also thin and needed wormed. She has now been fully vetted and has put on some much needed weight. For everything she has been through Laila is still a very kind and gentle girl. She eagerly wants to please you and should quickly learn new commands. She has some energy but also calms down nicely. She is good with her food and happily shares toys and treats. She has been through enough and now deserves to live the good life. She seems very well house trained. She is up to date on shots and wormed. She is already spayed. The adoption fee is $200. Wyck is a 10 mth old neutered male Boxer/ Pitbull mix. He currently weighs 54 lbs. Wyck was pulled from our local shelter. He was owner surrendered because they didn't have time to spend with him. He has been a great dog since arriving at the rescue. He has good manners and tries to please you. He is respectful and is quick to learn new things. He does have energy and loves playing with other dogs who match his energy. He will play hard but when they other dog has had enough he will respect that. He will happily settle down and just enjoy laying on his bed when it is time to relax. He is said to be house trained. He has been fine with children and other dogs. He shows interest in my cat but hasn't harmed her. He is up to date on shots and wormed. He is already neutered. The adoption fee is $250. Jalene is a 4-year-5-month old Boxer/Bulldog mix weighing 38 pounds. She came to the shelter as a stray so her history is unknown. Jalene is a petite girl with a large personality! She is full of sassiness, cuddles and kisses! She likes to go for walks but pulls, needs leash training and a harness is required to prevent trachea damage, she's especially crazy and pulls when squirrels are near! She is very smart and curious. She is quick to learn. She loves treat puzzles and knows commands sit and paw. She is selective with treats and loves stuffed toys. Plays fetch and and enjoys other outdoor toys, lots of energy. She thinks she is a lap dog and wants to be with you all the time. Loves car rides, especially if there is a pup cup-minus the cup! No cats permitted in her new home. Jalene does well with other dogs but should be the only dog in the home due to her not wanting to share attention (jealous). Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet her, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today! This is Stanley. Stanley came to us in June, abandoned after his owner was evicted. Stanley is rarely asked about and we are eager to find him a loving home. He is the “eyes and ears” of the pound and a bit of a nark! If he can instigate and get someone in trouble, he will do it! Stanley can also jump a chain link fence and should not be left outside by himself. He has been dog selective while at the pound and as always, any kids or dogs in the home will need to come in for a meet and greet. Stanley is a curious, friendly guy and is getting impatient waiting for someone to choose him!
