Hi, I'm Ash. I've been through a lot, and I'm still searching for my happy ending. When I first came to FDHS, I was in rough shape. I was a stray with a painful hip injury and was pretty freaked out. The kind people at FDHS took care of me, fixed my hip, and showed me lots of love. I got adopted once and for a little while, I though I'd found my forever. But it turns out it wasn't the right fit. I don't really do tell with being left alone for long periods. It makes me feel scared and unsure- I need someone I know I can count on to come back for me. I prefer a quieter lifestyle and would love nothing more than a steady home where I can feel safe and loved. I'll be honest- I'm a little stubborn sometimes, but I'm also a really big softie who loves really hard. I'll be your shadow, your protector, and your biggest fan. I get along fine with other animals, but because of my hip, I need a more gentle playmate. I just want a person who won't give up on me. Someone who sees my past quirks and understands that I've been hurt before. She had a terrible flea infestation and was missing a lot of hair. She was also thin and needed wormed. She has now been fully vetted and has put on some much needed weight. For everything she has been through Laila is still a very kind and gentle girl. She eagerly wants to please you and should quickly learn new commands. She has some energy but also calms down nicely. She is good with her food and happily shares toys and treats. She has been through enough and now deserves to live the good life. She seems very well house trained. Our dogs are fostered and located in North Carolina until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to your location or to one of the other north eastern locations. We have a cost effective transporter who runs every other week. This pup was born 12-27-23. This pup was born to an american bull dog mom. Not sure what the dad is but this pup and all the siblings appear to to be purebred. This pup is extremely sweet and loving. This pup is devoted and absolutely loves people.
