Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Lucy is an adorable puppy that came to us with two other siblings. It's easy to fall in love with her. She loves to play with toys and loves to cuddle. She is great with cats and dogs. It only took three days to crate train her in her foster home. She is learning it is not ok to jump on people due to she will more than likely be a large dog when she is fully grown. She is also working on potty training. She loves to snuggle with her human teenage sister and other dogs in her foster home. She would make an awesome family dog for any home. Story
Looking for an older pup to share your home with? Meet Ricardio! This sweet boy came to us as a stray, and we're not sure why no one came looking for his handsome lad. But Ricardio doesn't let that get him down, he's just as spritely and happy as ever! Ricardio is in good shape for an older middle aged pup, and aside from his handsome salt-and-pepper face you'd never know his age. He is out of all that high energy puppy stage, but more than happy to accompany you for a walk or a lap around the yard. Ricardio is ready to find his retirement home and a family he can give all his love to! If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Ricardio home. If you are interested in meeting Ricardio, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit. Story
We adopted Bailey from a rescue in January 2018. Bailey was part of a litter that was rescued after their mother was hit by a car. Her estimated birthdate is November 2017. She’s been great with our children, both of which she’s been with since they were born. Bailey is a proud protector of her home and family. There was a cat in the home when Bailey was a puppy, which she handled well. However, she has been the only animal in the home for several years now so we don’t know how she would do with other pets. Bailey is potty trained and crate trained, sometimes spending up to 8 hours in the cage during the work day. She’s a high energy dog and it’s unfair for us to keep her confined for so long. Bailey loves to run and would enjoy a fenced in yard. She does have a history of seizures which she is medicated for, and she has not had breakthrough seizure activity with her current medication regimen which she has been on for a year at least. She does well with boarding when we travel.

Story
Gypsys DNA test results are mostly Boxer, Husky, and German Shepherd. She bounces on her front legs when she is excited or wants something (we now know that comes from the Boxer in her). Gypsy is around 5 years of age and weighs around 75 pounds. Gypsy has been with us for 3 years, and we don't know why she has not been adopted yet. She is a very good girl and is the most obedient dog we have ever seen. She knows how to sit and comes when called. She is housetrained and very well behaved in the house. She likes her crate and sleeps in it with the door open. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. Gypsy loves her toys, especially squeaky ones, and she loves playing fetch. Gypsy is active - she loves to run and play with toys and other dogs. She loves water and lays in the wading pool when it is hot, and we bet she would love snow. She gets excited about squirrels, cats, and critters on the other side of the fence. Gypsy loves human attention and is good with older children. Gypsy is smart and might benefit from more obedience training from someone firm, patient, and loving. Gypsy is a sweet dog. She gets attached to her human and likes to lay under my desk when I work on the computer. Gypsy must be in the house as a loved family member. She must be walked on a leash and have a yard with a 6' fence to run and play. To emphasize...although Gypsy generally gets along with all dogs (she currently lives in a home with 14 other dogs both large and small and there are no problems), She either needs to be the only dog in the house or only paired with one other large male dog. Gypsy has been with the rescue for 3 years and a change will be scary. She needs an experienced adopter who is patient understanding, and willing to give her the time she needs to get comfortable in a new home. She is a great dog for a single person or couple. Any children should be over 10 years of age. Gypsy spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Gypsy had a light case of heartworms when we first got her. She is now heartworm-free and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Gypsy is located in Texas but can be transported after she is adopted. Her adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to several scheduled stops in Ohio - including but not limited to - Columbus, Cincinnati, and Akron OH Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this very good girl.
