Story
Thanks to a generous grant from the Robert H. Reakirt Foundation, my adoption fee is partially sponsored! My new family can take me home for $125. Cletus is a 1.5-year-old Boxer mix weighing about 50lbs. Cletus likes to play in the backyard with his foster parents and take a swim in a pool when it's hot outside. Cletus is always a happy guy. Cletus is a loving guy who like to give kisses and getting belly rubs all day long. Cletus likes to play with different types of toys or curl up on the couch under a blanket with his foster family. Cletus is crate trained and hasn't had many accidents in his foster home. Cletus is currently fostered in Cincinnati, Ohio. His adoption fee is $125.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Meet Vera Lynn, the girl who loves to explore! Vera Lynn is a friendly 10-week-old puppy who current weight is 8.1 lbs. Her parents are boxer/pit mixes; she will probably be around 40 lbs when grown. She was rescued from a bad situation with her brother as a baby and has spent a few weeks in foster care recovering, growing, and learning about the world. She is now healthy, happy, and ready for her loving forever home. Curious and playful, Vera charges joyfully into new situations with her whole heart and soul. She adores toys, playing, cuddles, and flopping down for naps in funny positions. She does great with other dogs, though she is a bit nippy since she’s still a puppy. She is still working on potty training and crate training, but she’s a smart girl who will thrive with a steady routine. Pictures include one of parents and one of condition of their pen. Make a difference in their young lives and adopt Vera Lynn! Both parents have been fixed by the rescue. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 50 miles from Cincinnati. All puppies vetted with age appropriate shots and will be scheduled for spay/neuter when puppy is old enough. They will go out on a foster to adopt until altered. The approved applicant must bring the pet to the rescue vet need vaccines and for altering. You must have a vet history to adopt a puppy. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Application: https://form.jotform.com/FredsMission/app

Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
I'm gonna make you an wo-offer you can't refuse. That's Pacino's favorite phrase. The adoption deal is simple: a roof over his head, a cold dish of water, daily meals and treats, plus an abundance of love. What? It's a good deal! Pacino, now over a year old, has become a true Dogfather. He is well-behaved, happy-go lucky, is very handsome, and has a wonderful, playful nature; he fits seamlessly into any family. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves. After all, a dog like him is an offer you can't refuse. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Chuy is a cuddle bug! He thinks he is a small, lap dog, despite reality! He has never been around cats, so we are not sure how he would do. Chuy loves people and kids. He does jump up when he gets excited, but we have been trying to work with him on that. He is house trained and trained to eat in his crate. He does not sleep there though. When it comes to eating, he eats Nature's Recipe, Grain free Chicken and Pumpkin dog food. He really loves to be outside and roll around in the grass in the warm sun. Sadly, we don't have a fenced yard, so we are not sure how he would do, but we think he would love it. Chuy loves to chew on the super chewer hard toys.
