My husband and I rescued Toby when he was about three years old. He’s now closer to 10 years old. He is a sweet boy and couch potato, really doesn’t care to be outside. He really just prefers a soft bed and warm blanket. He’s quiet and calm for the most part. Only barks when the doorbell rings. Toby can find his place in anyone’s home with pets and children.

Meet our newest puppy! Kirby! KIRBY is a bouncy, happy, vocal, loud 8 month old puppy. He is house broken as long as you pay attention to his door signal. He is crate trained for short amount of times and LOVES car rides! He's good with kids and dogs. He needs some help with manners as he doesn't know to give others their personal space. He doesn't welcome other dogs bossing him, so needs to be with submissive dogs. He can't wait to show the neighbors his newest finds from the yard. Simple things like pinecones and sticks are jewels to him! Kirby is a very good bed sleeper. Very still and doesn't get up during the night. Saint has been with us since he was 8 weeks old. He is neutered and socialized. He goes to the boarder and doggy day care regularly due to my hectic work schedule. He loves to run and play outside and he loves playing with other dogs. We just recently bought a new house in hopes of having the yard space for him to run, but due to issues with an easement on our property we are unable to get the fencing installed and may have to go through lengthy litigation with the city to see a solution. My work schedule requires traveling now about 4 days of the week, very overwhelming with caring for him. I would like to find a loving home with backyard space and knowledge of this specific breed for a loving rehome for him. Saint is a big BABY and just loves hugs and cuddles and quality time with his “person”. I have been unable to give this to him and it’s not fair to him at all. He’s gentle with smaller dogs as we have a friends chihuahua he plays with daily. He’s a gentle giant.

Welcome Gunner to the FHL Family! Gunner was found on Kennedy Road in Thomasville off of 109 and is a 50-pound Pit mix. He jumped into his foster's truck like he was meant to be in it. He's super friendly, loves to sunbathe, chew on his rope, and is a big fan of treats. Gunner loves to cuddle and sit in your lap. He is quiet in the car, and doesn't bark too much, unless his foster dad gets on the lawn mower. Gunner is neutered, housetrained, kennel trained, and does well with other dogs. So far, he doesn't seem to be a big fan of cats. He is heartworm positive and has started on his treatment, in which our rescue will be paying for until he is negative.
