Story
Royce is a Boxer mix that is approximately two years old. Recently adopted from a local shelter, he is very affectionate and loves ear rubs, belly scratches, and hanging out at your feet. He has been curious and playful with our cat and other dogs. Royce enjoys walking, playing tug, and chewing on/playing with tennis balls/other toys. Running circles in the yard is also a favorite, and he is beginning to learn how to play fetch. Royce also does well on hiking trips. The farthest he has gone is about 8 miles. He knows some basic commands: sit, down, go to bed, no, and wait—although still in training, and reinforcement is needed to improve consistency. He has dramatically improved in this area since adoption. Royce has a very loving, affectionate, and silly personality typical of a Boxer. He loves pets and hanging out. He would likely make a great companion dog for an adult or family with older members. Royce would not be well-suited in a home with young or small children, however.

Story
Ivey was born shortly after her mom was surrendered to a rural SC shelter. She spent her whole life at the shelter until joining The Foster Dog House. She is the happiest puppy! She LOVES people and lets you know with endless kisses. She LOVES other dogs and we recommend having another dog in her forever home to continue building her confidence. We've taken her to several breweries where she patiently lays at our feet (or tries to make friends with the other brewery dogs) She is doing great at crate training where she sleeps through the night. Potty training is going well too. She walks well on a leash and also enjoys romping around a fenced in yard. Our best guess is she's boxer mix (her siblings were brindle) and expect her to be around 40lbs when fully grown. She's UTD on vaccines, preventatives, and already microchipped and spayed.

Story
Sweet Bea, a three year old boxer mix, who came to the shelter heart worm positive, with pyometra, and just in bad shape. She was immediately spayed, just finished up her heartworm treatment and is ready to start looking for the family that she so deserves to love her. Bea is very human friendly, loves everyone she meets and loves to play. We would suggest older children since she is very playful and large enough to knock down and accidentally hurt a small child. She does need to be the only dog. She gets aroused around new dogs to the point she turns to aggression. If Bea looks like the girl for you, please read our procedures and fill out the on line application, link attached below. 1. on line application 2. vet and reference check 3. phone call 4. home visit 5 meet and greet 6. adoption We will travel up to two hours to do home checks. We also truly feel the dogs in our rescue have been through enough. We take in those who are injured, abused, neglected, sick, and abandoned. That being said we search for a home that they are never put in that position again and that fits their personality and needs the best. No more hurt or fear. https://cliffordsarmyrescue.com/1423-2/

Story
JJ was brought to my elderly parents house as a puppy in 2018 by my little sister who basically abandoned him here. My parents just basically fed him for the first couple of years and then they started spending time with him a couple of times a day by letting him out into a fenced in pasture to play ball and just get loved on. He is super sweet! He has just never been socialized with other dogs, so unless you are experienced with training, I would recommend him as an only dog. He is good with kids. Has never attempted to bite anyone! He will run at the cats when they come into the pasture, but will not attack them. My Dad died 3 yrs ago and my Mom has just been placed in memory care. She left me 2 dogs and 8 cats to rehome. :( JJ is the only one who I'm having trouble with due to his breed. He is healthy, but has never been house trained. I have too many rescues at my house, otherwise I would keep him! Please help this little guy find a loving home!
