Arlo is a sweet and quiet dog; he loves to be petted and eat treats. We have enjoyed spending time with him in our backyard. He likes to chase after tennis balls, and he is very calm but can be playful when outside. The one thing he gets scared of is loud noises and thunderstorms. We have enjoyed having him so much and hate to let him go.

Floyd is a male boxer mix, he is 2 years old & weighs 63 pounds. Neutered, up-to-date on shots, & heartworm negative. Great dog all around. Gentle laid-back mellow, but also very athletic and playful. Good with other dogs, not sure about cats or children. Floyd has been a perfect gentleman and very patient with a high energy puppy that he is being fostered with, he would likely be the same with children. Crate trained and housebroken, hasn't had a single accident in the house and goes right in crate on his own or when asked. Great on leash. Loves to play fetch with his squeaky ball and big stick! Loves to help with yard work or just be by your side while you're working! Floyd needs and active family with a yard big enough for him to run in.     ##2189209##

Have you been considering adopting a dog but thought maybe a weird little gremlin might be more fun?Then boy, oh boy, do I have the dog for you.Meet Pancake! This perfect little nugget spent the first two weeks of her life in foster hiding in a bathtub, but she's come so far since then. As she's learned to be brave, Pancake's personality has really come out and it is SO much fun. She's playful, silly, and loves to cuddle. Pancake is very sensitive and very smart, making her a blast to train. Her new skills include: place, sit, down, and wait.Pancake is learning about being comfortable on leash and enjoys short walks through the neighborhood. Pancake enjoys other dogs but she's a little awkward, so selective dogs might not love her vibe. She's what we call a "stiff greeter", so if your dog prefers a more easy-going playmate, then Pancake is not your girl, however she does live in harmony with 7 of the 8 other dogs in my home. Currently she's very scared of cats but could be friends with one who's a bit nicer than her current foster brother. Pancake is not suited for a home with children under the age of 13. Meet Detective Stabler! He can find any treat at any time! While we are not sure if he is an actual Law and Order fan, we do know that he is a fan of snuggling on the couch! How do we know? His family had to bring him to us after their home was flooded during recent storms. They were kind enough to let us know everything they could to set him up for success for his new adopters. Thanks to his family, he is very well mannered and potty trained and walks well on a leash. He knows sit and uses a gentle mouth taking treats.He is a love bug who leans in for hugs. He is an older pup, if you are looking for a companion that is out of the puppy stage and wants to go on adventures with you. He is ready to go home today with a new, loving family! I found Hunter on the street about 3 months ago. I took him to the animal shelter, and he came up for adoption and I adopted him. I would describe Hunter as an adorable and playful boy. He can be shy in new surroundings and places but adjusts quickly. I live in an apartment and didn't realize he is a very active dog, and I would prefer trying to find someone to adopt him who has a house, yard, and even children and other dogs to play with. He loves to be outside and play tug of war with his rope. I can't stress enough about his character being so sweet and playful. Hunter is 1 year 7 months old and weights 44lbs. He walks on the leash fairly well and from my experience when I walk him, he doesn't bark at people or animals that he sees. He does bark when he wants to play. I do have all his shots up to date and can provide his vet records and I did a DNA test on him also to screen for any health issues and found known. I can provide you with that report too.
