Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hey there, I'm Kobe and I'm on a mission to fill your life with endless cuddles and tail wags! I was recently rescued off death row from Rowan County. Here's a little peek into what makes me special: Cuddle Expert: I'm a certified cuddle connoisseur! There's nothing I love more than snuggling up with my humans for some quality bonding time. Get ready for lots of warmth and love, especially during movie time! Leash Learning Pro: I may be new to this whole leash thing, but I'm eager to learn! I'm learning not to pull but every walk is an adventure, and I'm excited to explore the world by your side. Food Enthusiast and Trust Builder: I'm cautious at first, but I quickly warm up to people, especially if they offer me tasty treats! Food is the key to my heart, and once you have my trust, I'll love you forever. So let's bond over some delicious snacks and build a lifelong friendship together! Friendly Socialite: Although I've attempted to engage in playful antics with my doggy brother, he prefers a more laid-back vibe. My parents think I may need to learn the art of sharing affection with other pups who match my energy and enthusiasm. So let's find some new furry friends to romp and play with together, as I navigate the world of canine camaraderie! I do well with small dogs and big dogs if they are not overly energetic. Road Trip Ready: I'm a pro when it comes to car rides – no motion sickness here! Let's embark on some fun adventures together! Potty Prodigy: Good news – I've got this whole potty training thing down! Say goodbye to accidents because I'm a pro at doing my business in all the right places. Crating Expert: I'm crate trained. Just make sure to leave me with a Kong and some treats! Ready to welcome some love, laughter, and tail wags into your life? Then look no further – I can't wait to become your new best friend! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › About Dottie formerly Zoe Dottie is a boxer mix (Boxer, Beagle, and Great pyrenees). She will be 4 years old on November 27th, weighs 36lbs (medium size dog), Simperica Trio (flea, tick, and heart guard treatment), and current on all shots and check ups. She is a very sweet, playful girl with lots of personality. She likes to play with the other animals, toys, will be talkative when in a good mood, loves to cuddle, be lazy and take naps, and will be your best friend if you allow her to sleep on the bed with you! She eats twice a day, good appetite. She is a gentle, non aggressive eater. She does get anxiety when it storms where she will pant and tremble. We give her trazodone for this (vet recommended). She has separation anxiety and would do well in a home that someone is home more vs being left alone for long periods of time. She is house broken and doggie door trained. She uses a crate when left home alone, so she doesn’t chew anything (due to separation anxiety). She does well on the leash and enjoys going on walks. She does well in the car, with kids, adults, other dogs, and cats. Being that she’s social, but shy at first around new people, she prefers to be around people and other animals, vs sitting alone.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 12, 2024, 11:52 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All Best Friend Pet Adoption dogs require an approved Best Friend Pet Adoption application. The link to our application is  https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC.  It can also be found on Eno's bio page at bfpa.org.  Who is looking for an older puppy who has good house manners and is housebroken?  Look no further, Eno is your girl!  Eno is very friendly with other people!  She loves everyone she meets.  Eno has been around, 4 yo and a 10 yo children.   She gets very excited but I insist “No jump” and she will sit down.  Eno is housebroken but still needs to go outside on regular potty breaks. She isn't a fan of being crated but I leave her loose in the house for 2-3 hours and there are no accidents.  She isn't destructive and has good house manners. Eno is very friendly with other dogs. She currently lives with a larger dog and two cats.  She would probably do fine with a dog savvy cat.   Eno loves to potty and play in her little fenced in courtyard best but is learning to walk gently on a leash.  Eno’s has a lot of energy though she does sleep through the night and takes a nap every afternoon.  She is a gentle pup and can occupy herself for long periods of time with her toys. She especially loves a deer antler to gnaw on.  Eno’s new home can have a furry friend or she would do well being the center of attention as a solo dog also.   Eno can't wait to see what exciting adventures life has waiting for her once she finds her forever home! She is packing up her toys already and can't wait to meet you. Please consider making Eno a part of your family.  She is a joy!  EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:   Eno's mother (Tiki) was rescued from a shelter and we didn't know she was pregnant. Her foster came home and discovered she had a litter of four sweet girls waiting for her.  What a surprise! Maybe you can open your home for one of these lucky puppies. They love dogs and all people.      Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants should live no more than an hour away from Raleigh/Durham. For the perfect home, we may consider applicants who live a bit  further away.  INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ENO? His loving personality truly stands out and will win your heart. He will flourish with an attentive owner who can provide the attention he craves. While Niko's compatibility with cats remains uncertain, he bonds well with his foster sibling, but can be selective when it comes to meeting new dogs. Story
Meet Selena! This super sweet, energetic, and loving girl is ready for her forever home! She is an absolute goofball and is welcoming to any and everyone. It's hard not to fall in love with her. Selena is fully potty trained and has had no accidents despite recently living in a boarding facility. Selena is a high energy dog who loves to run around and burn off lots of energy! Her favorite thing to do is go on a long walk at the end of the day. Selena would thrive with an owner who can dedicate a couple of hours a day of exercising her. Selena would best fit in a home with no cats or small animals given her history of liking to chase small animals. Selena is quite the escape artist and can break out of a normal wire crate. She is also super snuggly and loves getting lots of attention. She does have a heart murmur that has been assessed by a cardiologist - she has no symptoms, so she is currently on a twice a day pill that she takes in a treat! If you're looking for a sweet, cuddly, and energetic pup, Selena might be the perfect match for you!Adoption fee of $150 includes spay, microchip, vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing, and heartworm/flea/tick preventionApply here: https://2pawsup.org/applications/adoption-application/November 3, 2024, 1:08 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.DOB: 4/06/2023 Hi my name is Ollie and my foster Mom says I am such a sweet boy and I am just a big old hunk of love :). I do good in my crate, I am potty trained and walk well on leash. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE other dogs and do well with both female and male dogs of all sizes. Be sure to check out my videos! I am very playful and would do great with an active family who has other dogs. I haven't been cat tested but I do have playful puppy energy so not too sure a home with cats would be best for me. While I love to play and have a great demeanor, I would do best in a home with older, considerate children as I tend to get excited and with my size I could accidently knock a small child down. I am an all around great dog who would make a great addition to a loving family, so if you are looking for a sweet and playful "house hippo" look no further because I am your man!  (KG/EC*)   Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, neutered and micro-chipped.   Adoption Fee:  $200.00     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 5:48 pm
