He's eagerly seeking a forever home where he can continue to build his confidence and learn the ropes of socializing in a kind and nurturing environment. Max's magical journey is just beginning, and he needs a special family to guide him along the way. Story
Breed: Boxer / American Bulldog? maybe? Size: Large; currently 70+ lbs Estimated Birthday: 3/2/2020 House-Trained: Yes --=========================== ---------- Crate-Trained: Yes, and kennels on command! Kid-Friendly: Needs a home with kids over 12 years This sweet girl came to the rescue in need of bowel obstruction surgery after she thought a sock was a yummy snack. She made it through surgery and has been recovering nicely! Bella Vida is quite shy and a bit hesitant to open up to new people, so she is looking for a patient family that will give her time and let her know she is safe. Bella Vida is selective with her dog friends and may do better with male dogs. She is looking for a house with no small children and would thrive with an active family with older kids. Bella Vida loves to go on daily walks and will play fetch for hours! She will always follow up these play sessions with a cuddle session on the couch. She loves deconstructing stuffed toys and sometimes her bedding. We would recommend caution in allowing Bella Vida unsupervised access to toys due to her recent sock-eating debacle. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Bella Vida is $365 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families in the greater Charlotte area. - If you have any additional questions, email us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible!

Story
Well hello MINNIE! Quick Facts: Breed: Boxer X Estimated Birthday: 1/1/2015 Weight: Around 50# House/Crate Trained: Yes & Yes! -================================================= This sweet soul was an owner surrender to a shelter, severely underweight at a mere 30#. As a result, Minnie was diagnosed with EPI - exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, and will need to eat dog food for sensitive stomachs, sprinkled with an enzyme powder that allows her body to absorb and digest the food she's eating. She LOVES to run and play with the other dogs in her foster home. She has the world's best zoomies & will wrestle until her heart's content, BUT Minnie quickly falls victim to rainy days and nights, turning into a couch potato at the first sign of precipitation or at sundown, whichever comes first. She will curl up on the couch next to her favorite person and chew on a bone/toy while binging your favorite shows. She is so incredibly loving and so so happy. This girl enjoys long walks or car rides that lead to the park or snacks. But one thing Minnie does NOT enjoy is the thought of sharing her snacks or food (Same, Minnie, same). While Minnie learns that food & snacks are now an unlimited resource, she will need to be fed separately & given treats separately from other animals. She can be a little protective of her bones when she's trying to relax, but has a tendency to only boss around the submissive ones in the house, leaving her head honcho foster brother out of the warnings. Minnie walks well on a leash, but pulls when she gets excited & will need continued training. She is house trained & crate trained, relaxing in there while her foster mom is out of the house. She has not been cat or kid tested. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Minnie is $265 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Story
Meet the Ted Lasso crew! Rebecca Welton Estimated Birthday: 11/30/2023 Size: we are guessing this crew will be over 50lbs. Breed: mixed breed --================================ This litter will be available March 2nd but we are accepting applications now. Rebecca Welton has the different markings out of all her foster siblings with beautiful red tones in her face. She lives with dogs of all sizes from 7lbs to 70lbs and does well with them all. She enjoys stuffy toys and food. She enjoys romping and rolling with her foster siblings. They are the typical puppies, they eat a bunch, poop a lot, play hard and sleep even harder. They are all working on their house-training skills but you can expect to have to train the one you adopt! They are not fully crate-trained, but they are quick learners. Puppies require training, so these babies are no different. We highly encourage enrolling in a training program to teach your new addition good manners and to help him or her be well socialized. Please remember puppies demand a lot of your time and pets are a commitment for life. Please read the information below and if you have any further questions please EMAIL us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible! If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website at www.c2cnd.org & complete the adoption application. -The adoption fee for Rebecca Welton is $365 -The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, heartworm test (if old enough to be tested & treatment if necessary), and spay/neuter. -Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families. Charlotte and surrounding cities only. We apologize for any inconvenience. **These puppies may contain pit bull. We have no information on their mom or dad.

Story
Ivey was born shortly after her mom was surrendered to a rural SC shelter. She spent her whole life at the shelter until joining The Foster Dog House. She is the happiest puppy! She LOVES people and lets you know with endless kisses. She LOVES other dogs and we recommend having another dog in her forever home to continue building her confidence. We've taken her to several breweries where she patiently lays at our feet (or tries to make friends with the other brewery dogs) She is doing great at crate training where she sleeps through the night. Potty training is going well too. She walks well on a leash and also enjoys romping around a fenced in yard. Our best guess is she's boxer mix (her siblings were brindle) and expect her to be around 40lbs when fully grown. She's UTD on vaccines, preventatives, and already microchipped and spayed.
