Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Could your family be the one Herbie's been waiting for? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 11, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
Breed: Boxer / American Bulldog? maybe? Size: Large; currently 70+ lbs Estimated Birthday: 3/2/2020 House-Trained: Yes --=========================== ---------- Crate-Trained: Yes, and kennels on command! Kid-Friendly: Needs a home with kids over 12 years This sweet girl came to the rescue in need of bowel obstruction surgery after she thought a sock was a yummy snack. She made it through surgery and has been recovering nicely! Bella Vida is quite shy and a bit hesitant to open up to new people, so she is looking for a patient family that will give her time and let her know she is safe. Bella Vida is selective with her dog friends and may do better with male dogs. She is looking for a house with no small children and would thrive with an active family with older kids. Bella Vida loves to go on daily walks and will play fetch for hours! She will always follow up these play sessions with a cuddle session on the couch. She loves deconstructing stuffed toys and sometimes her bedding. We would recommend caution in allowing Bella Vida unsupervised access to toys due to her recent sock-eating debacle. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Bella Vida is $365 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families in the greater Charlotte area. - If you have any additional questions, email us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible!

Story
Well hello MINNIE! Quick Facts: Breed: Boxer X Estimated Birthday: 1/1/2015 Weight: Around 50# House/Crate Trained: Yes & Yes! -================================================= This sweet soul was an owner surrender to a shelter, severely underweight at a mere 30#. As a result, Minnie was diagnosed with EPI - exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, and will need to eat dog food for sensitive stomachs, sprinkled with an enzyme powder that allows her body to absorb and digest the food she's eating. She LOVES to run and play with the other dogs in her foster home. She has the world's best zoomies & will wrestle until her heart's content, BUT Minnie quickly falls victim to rainy days and nights, turning into a couch potato at the first sign of precipitation or at sundown, whichever comes first. She will curl up on the couch next to her favorite person and chew on a bone/toy while binging your favorite shows. She is so incredibly loving and so so happy. This girl enjoys long walks or car rides that lead to the park or snacks. But one thing Minnie does NOT enjoy is the thought of sharing her snacks or food (Same, Minnie, same). While Minnie learns that food & snacks are now an unlimited resource, she will need to be fed separately & given treats separately from other animals. She can be a little protective of her bones when she's trying to relax, but has a tendency to only boss around the submissive ones in the house, leaving her head honcho foster brother out of the warnings. Minnie walks well on a leash, but pulls when she gets excited & will need continued training. She is house trained & crate trained, relaxing in there while her foster mom is out of the house. She has not been cat or kid tested. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Minnie is $265 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Story
Meet the Ted Lasso crew! Rebecca Welton Estimated Birthday: 11/30/2023 Size: we are guessing this crew will be over 50lbs. Breed: mixed breed --================================ This litter will be available March 2nd but we are accepting applications now. Rebecca Welton has the different markings out of all her foster siblings with beautiful red tones in her face. She lives with dogs of all sizes from 7lbs to 70lbs and does well with them all. She enjoys stuffy toys and food. She enjoys romping and rolling with her foster siblings. They are the typical puppies, they eat a bunch, poop a lot, play hard and sleep even harder. They are all working on their house-training skills but you can expect to have to train the one you adopt! They are not fully crate-trained, but they are quick learners. Puppies require training, so these babies are no different. We highly encourage enrolling in a training program to teach your new addition good manners and to help him or her be well socialized. Please remember puppies demand a lot of your time and pets are a commitment for life. Please read the information below and if you have any further questions please EMAIL us at dogs@c2cnd.org and we will respond as soon as possible! If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website at www.c2cnd.org & complete the adoption application. -The adoption fee for Rebecca Welton is $365 -The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, heartworm test (if old enough to be tested & treatment if necessary), and spay/neuter. -Due to our thorough adoption process including home visits, we limit our adoptions to local families. Charlotte and surrounding cities only. We apologize for any inconvenience. **These puppies may contain pit bull. We have no information on their mom or dad.

Story
Boys just want to play, play, play. I am a 3 month old male boxer mix. I was a stray and ended up at the shelter. I am a big love bug and want to be with my human. I am loving playing with other dogs but they often do not like to me in their space. When that happens I go about my business. I want to please the humans and will be a quick learner when it comes to manners. I am going to need a fenced in yard to play around in. I would like to have a canine friend but if my human is active and wants to play I will be okay. Because I am young, I will need to work on training including housebreaking. I am doing well in a crate when I need to be but again I want to be next to my human. I am learning to play with toys and liking the toys. I am hoping I will find someone that will love me and play with me. I will need a lot os pets and treats. If this is your home fill out an application and someone will be in touch with you. If interested in giving Odie a forever home, please complete an application at www.safeanimalhaven.com.November 5, 2024, 12:12 am

Story
Ivey was born shortly after her mom was surrendered to a rural SC shelter. She spent her whole life at the shelter until joining The Foster Dog House. She is the happiest puppy! She LOVES people and lets you know with endless kisses. She LOVES other dogs and we recommend having another dog in her forever home to continue building her confidence. We've taken her to several breweries where she patiently lays at our feet (or tries to make friends with the other brewery dogs) She is doing great at crate training where she sleeps through the night. Potty training is going well too. She walks well on a leash and also enjoys romping around a fenced in yard. Our best guess is she's boxer mix (her siblings were brindle) and expect her to be around 40lbs when fully grown. She's UTD on vaccines, preventatives, and already microchipped and spayed.

Story
I’m Hokey Pokey, a lovable boxer mix who is quick with a smooch and a hug for my human friends.I came to the Humane Society of York County after my family was displaced by Hurricane Helene and could no longer care for me. After some time to decompress at the rescue, I showed everyone what an affectionate boy I am, always excited to see people and get some TLC.I’m a medium size guy, around 50 pounds, and my estimated birth date is August 2022.I’m a terrific car rider and I’m a good leash walker. I love my daily walks at the rescue! I’m a playful boy with normal energy for my age. I’m attending school at Zoom Room in Fort Mill, and my new family would have a couple of free lessons to continue my training.I’m a sweet, cheerful boy who needs a loving forever family. Call HSYC and come meet me! I’ll have some hugs for you.If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Once your application has been submitted, our Adoptions Team will be in contact shortly to set up a phone interview and a home visit. Delightful ray of sunshine, tiny and fun-sized, friend to all.Would you look at this fun-sized little peanut! We can't get over how amazing this dog is, nor how tiny he is for a blocky-headed dog. Absolute squee, he's the very bestest and we're all so smitten. Gerbil is right around a year old and a mere 30lbs, he's got a sweet and easy going demeanor with a little bit of puppy silliness with his dog buddies. He goes to daycare daily with his foster and has so many dog friends, he's thoroughly unfazed by nonsense and adjusts his play style to whoever he's hanging out with. He's gone to a couple of events at breweries and he gets an A+ for brewery dog skills, he just hangs out and makes friends with everyone he meets. Gerbil would love to find an adopter with dog friends, but he could do the single life as long as he gets to go see some dog buddies from time to time. We think he'd get along with a cat, but he may expect kitty to play rowdy with him so you decide if your cat wants to put up with young dog shenanigans. Kids? Oh heckins yes, but he is a small guy, so well-behaved kids who will be mindful where he is would be best. This guy is a star everywhere he goes and we'd love to match him with someone who knows how to treat their dog like he hung the moon. Is that you? Visit southofthebully.com and apply to adopt Gerbil. Our adoption fee is $300. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care. To begin the adoption process, please fill out the SOTB Adoption Application completely. Once your application has been submitted, our Adoptions Team will be in contact shortly to set up a phone interview and a home visit. Are you looking for a dog who will gaze lovingly at you no matter how many days it's been since you've had a shower? Would you love a dog who listens with the most adoring stare no matter how hideous your singing is? Do you need a cartoon-y little pot roast of a dog who thinks you hung the moon no matter how bad your day has gone? Wanna spend your days with a dog who's a little bit shy, a little bit awkward and kind of a homebody? Fam, we got you! This is Dumpling, he's a kind and lovely soul with the sweetest smile and the best antenna ears. He's around 3 years old and 45 lbs, he's not seen a whole lot of the world, but he's having a really nice time with his foster going on adventure walks. Dumpling is the kind of guy who prefers quiet walks in the woods to rowdy dog bars or brewery trivia nights. He can fake it well enough, but really, he's the guy who brings a book to a party and likes to hang on the edges of chaos. He's just not a crowd kinda guy and we totally get that! That's not to say Dumpling isn't social, he loves his people and he gets along beautifully with his two foster sister dogs at home, he's just a humble guy who doesn't want to be the center of attention.  Dumpling is looking for a family who leans more towards the quiet life. He likes neighborhood walks and trips to Lowe's, he's housebroken, crate trained and non-destructive in the home, mostly he wants to follow you around and be with you. Kinda perfect, really. He's lovely with kids, though he does prefer them to be more on the easy going side, as one would expect. Dumpling is just a good little dude looking for a compatible family to call his own. Does this sweet, endearing, slightly awkward little guy speak to your soul? We'd love to set you two up for a happily ever after, head over to southofthebully.com and fill out an application today. Our adoption fee is $300. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care. November 15, 2024, 6:10 pm

Story
Hunter is a gentle 60-pound Pitbull mix with a heart of gold. This strong boy, about a year old, was found running loose on the back roads of Tennessee, but despite his tough start, he's in great shape with a silky black coat. While no one has come forward to claim him, Hunter is patiently waiting for a loving family to call his own! Hunter enjoys his daily walks and is working on not pulling on the leash. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 He’s curious, playful, and loves other dogs! He’s been sharing a pen with a Boxer, though we feed him separately to avoid any food aggression. Hunter does the cutest little dance when it’s time for his meals or walks—it’s sure to put a smile on your face! While he hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, Hunter did have a run-in with a neighbor’s chicken , so he might be best suited to a home without small livestock.
