Story
If you love outdoor adventures Wallace is the dog for you. This 2–3-year-old Boxer/Hound sweetheart is an active boy– he loves hiking on the trails, running in the snow, splashing in the water – it’s all good with him. He walks well on leash, and actually loves to lead the way, which is really sweet. Oh, and he loves riding in the car, especially if its for a pup cup! At 77 pounds Wallace is a big guy but is as gentle and affectionate as could be. He is very intelligent, a good learner and has a strong desire to please his people. He loves to play but also settles down easily. And while he sleeps through the night on his bed, he would always prefer to share yours if given the chance. Wallace is currently in foster, where he is doing great, but he is waiting eagerly to find his forever home. He is looking for an experienced owner to guide him and be his best friend. He would do best in a home with adults or older kids who can manage his size and energy, and while he plays well with other dogs, should be the only dog in the home. Also on his wish list... a yard where he can explore and stretch his legs! In return for all of that he promises to give back with loads of love and lots of loyalty. Kindhearted Wallace just can't wait to find that forever family who will appreciate how truly special he is! Could it be you? Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hey there, I’m Coco, the life of the party and your soon-to-be best friend! I’m a 1-year, 9-month-old, 44 pound Boxer mix with a heart full of love and energy to share. If you’re looking for a dog who’s great with kids, I’m your guy! I love running around with them, playing chase, and just being their fun-loving sidekick. I also love dog parks. They are one of my happy places and I love sprinting around with my furry friends. I’m a smart boy and a fast learner. I’ll admit, I get a little excited on walks and tend to pull, but hey, I just need someone to help me practice! I’d be happiest in a home where someone is around often to keep me company. I can’t wait to find a family who will love me as much as I’ll love them. Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). ** Victoria is ready to find her Forever Home!!** This two boxer/staffy mix puppy is all about love, wiggles, and puppy kisses! Full of fun and curiosity, Victoria adores everyone she meets—humans, dogs, and especially her human foster sisters (ages 6 & 8). She's still figuring out potty training but is super food-motivated, which makes learning a breeze. A doggy mentor would be great to show her the ropes, and she's already charming her foster dog siblings! Victoria is an adventurous one! She’s sweet, gentle, and always ready for snuggles. Whether she’s following her foster mom around or learning that the great outdoors is full of fun, she’s eager to explore and love on her people. She's got gorgeous blue eyes, and a blue brindle coat to match! If you’re looking for a snuggly, playful pup to bring endless joy into your home, Victoria is ready to be your new best friend! Active families with breed experience will be given preference. Fill out an adoption application via our website www.pprct.org!
