Our dogs are fostered and located in North Carolina until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to your location or to one of the other north eastern locations. We have a cost effective transporter who runs every other week. This sweetie was born 12-1-22. She is a boxer mix. She is a bit shy until she gets to know you. However, she warms up fast. She likes everyone and is good with kids. She does well with other dogs but she does not like cats. She is potty trained and crate trained. She really is the sweetest humble soul ever! This pup is current in all age appropriate vaccines, preventives, heartworm tested and on prevention and microchipped. She will be spayed prior to going to her new home.The adopter will get all the health records with the adoption. We require a prescreen application to adopt. Donnie is big goofball, very loving, loves attention, food, the outdoors, car rides, playing with other dogs and loves to be right in your way! In short we can no longer house Donnie and provide the care he needs to enjoy his life! Donnie also needs someone who can continue taking care of his skin/allergy needs. Donnie gets drops in his ear, medicated baths, and needs Benadryl during the spring because of the pollen. I can further discuss his skin with any potential adopter.

Donnie is a goofball who wants to be around people at all times. He gets along well with dog and cats, he does bark which tends to scare some kitties but he is not aggressive towards them. He is good with kids, although he forgets his size sometimes. He would do best in a home with no super young children. He is very food motivated. He likes to be active but is also okay with chilling on the couch all day. He does have skin problems that will require his adopter to keep track of. He needs medicated baths about once a week and then needs to be sprayed with an anti itch spray. He also needs ear drops when he starts to shake his head and also requires his ears to be cleaned out. He gets benadry during the spring summer when allergies really are in effect.
