Story
Chico young, energetic and full of enthusiasm. He loves to run around and play. Needs a home that will keep up with his high energy. Preferably an owner that is also high energy and will go on long walks or park visits to allow Chico to release his energy. He is very smart, answers to his name and follows commands, sit, laydown, come and leave it. Is initially shy around humans but once he gets acquainted he is extremely friendly and playful. When shy or timid he shows no aggression. Age: 2.5 years Weight: 54 lbs Vetting: neutered, up to date on vaccines, HW negative. Temperament: Good with dogs and probably older sturdy kids because of his energy level. Training: House-trained For questions about Chico, please email dtv.diyora@gmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review.

Story
Gypsys DNA test results are mostly Boxer, Husky, and German Shepherd. She bounces on her front legs when she is excited or wants something (we now know that comes from the Boxer in her). Gypsy is around 5 years of age and weighs 70 pounds. Gypsy came from a bad home. She was not being fed and was severely underweight. So the people surrendered Gypsy and her puppies to animal control to avoid animal cruelty charges. We don't know why Gypsy has not been adopted yet. She is a very good girl and is the most obedient dog I have ever seen. She knows how to sit and comes when called. She is housetrained and very well behaved in the house. She likes her crate and sleeps in it with the door open. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. Gypsy loves her toys, especially squeaky ones, and she loves playing fetch. Gypsy is active - she loves to run and play with toys and other dogs. She loves water and lays in the wading pool when it is hot, and we bet she would love snow. She gets excited about squirrels, cats, and critters on the other side of the fence. Gypsy normally does well with all dogs but gets along best with male dogs. She would also prefer a home without annoying toy dogs or puppies that get in her face. Gypsy loves human attention and is good with children. Gypsy is smart and might benefit from more obedience training from someone firm, patient, and loving. Gypsy is a sweet dog. She gets attached to her human and likes to lay under my desk when I work on the computer. Gypsy must be in the house as a loved family member. She must be walked on a leash and have a yard with a 6' fence to run and play. Gypsy spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Gypsy had a light case of heartworms when we first got her. She is now heartworm-free and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Gypsy is located in Texas but can be transported after she is adopted. Her adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to a location closest to you. Stops include, but are not limited to, Ridgefield NJ, Rye NY, or Nanuet NY. Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you would like to make this amazing girl part of your family! Hear ye, hear ye! All hail the King of Peaceable Kingdom! We joke, because there’s nothing very regal about this boy. King is a big, silly, lummox of a dog and we love him for it! King is 1 ½ years old, weighs 73 lbs., and is half Boxer, half German Shepherd/Husky mix. King has a big bark when you meet him, but he’s 100% soft inside. He has the best wiggle-butt when he’s excited to see you! King was surrendered because his prior owners were unable to care for him. He was crated a lot in the past and didn’t get proper training as a puppy, so he’s still learning good-boy manners, like potty-training and walking on a leash. King is very talkative at the shelter, so he may benefit from a home without shared walls. King grew up around other dogs and supposedly cats, too, but we can cat test him if you have a kitty at home. King would do fine around older children, but he’s probably too big for the little ones. Apply for this big, loveable goofball at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License #04131, 1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052

Story
Adoptable Ami is ready to give you lots of hugs! This affectionate girl is around 1 ½ and weighs 53 lbs. Ami is purportedly a mix of Boxer, German Shepherd, and Husky, though we’d swear she’s got some hound in her! Ami was surrendered because her prior owners were unable to care for her. She didn’t get proper training as a puppy so she’s still learning where to go potty and how to walk well on a leash. Ami is chatty, so she might do best in a home without shared walls. She grew up around other dogs and supposedly cats, too, but we can kitty test her if you have any feline friends at home. We think Ami would be okay with kids, too. Though a teensy bit shy and cautious at first, Ami warms up fast and can’t wait to find a family to love on! Apply for Ami at lvpeaceablekingdom.info.
