Story
Hi my name is Lily, I'm about a year old and am a true puppy at heart. I like to play with my foster brother Theo and run free in the back yard. I like to play with my toys and make it look like a winter wonderland in the living room. I'm still learning as I'm young but I am food and love motivated. I am learning to not jump when I want pets but I love my humans so much it's hard. I sit and do know paw but I only give it when I want to. I am learning potty and for the most part go outside but do use potty pads. I find my crate to be my safe place and don't mind going into it while my people work who wouldn't mind extra treats lol. I sleep with my people at night and I am a great cuddled. If you work with me as I am still you feel and need training you won't be disappointed I am a great puppy who will give you lots of love in return. Hi

Story
Misty is an 8-month-old, 33-pound Boxer mix with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. Despite being deaf, Misty is a quick learner and would thrive in a home with another dog who can help guide and teach her. She has plenty of energy to burn, as expected from her young age. Misty absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them, although she can be a bit too playful with cats, chasing them in an attempt to play. She is learning basic commands like “sit” and how to go into her kennel when you point to it. Potty-trained but in need of regular breaks, Misty prefers not to be left outside alone—she’ll head back to the door quickly if you or another dog aren’t with her.Curious and sweet, Misty is just discovering the joy of toys and is eager to share her zest for life with her forever family. She hasn’t been around children yet but would likely do well with those who understand her playful nature, including her tendency to jump up when excited. Outgoing and affectionate, Misty adores meeting new people and is ready to give all her love to someone who will return it. If you’re looking for an energetic, loving companion who will melt your heart, Misty might be the perfect match! Bcaaofnj.orgInterested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! Story
Meet Cinna! Cinna is a 5-year-old, 53-pound sweetheart with the most adorable forehead wrinkles you’ve ever seen! She’s a little underweight and could stand to gain a couple of pounds. Cinna is great on a leash, doesn’t pull too much (unless really excited), and is fantastic in the car, making her the perfect companion for walks and road trips. She’s house and crate trained, so she’s already got her manners down. This smushy girl is wonderful with dogs of all sizes and has a sweet, social nature. Found as a stray and brought to a shelter, Cinna hasn’t let her past dim her loving spirit. She adores attention, has the cutest sploot when she’s relaxing, and will melt your heart with her affectionate personality. She is more laid back and happy to relax around the house with you. She does show her entergetic side around other playful dogs and while playing fetch ect. She is pretty interested in cats, so a homewithout them will be best. If you’re ready to welcome the sweetest snuggle buddy into your life, Cinna might be the one for you! Apply at bcaaofnj.orgInterested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! Story
Meet our quarter back Block Head. Dont`t let this jock`s tough guy name fool you. He make look tough and stuff but has a heart as soft as a puppy. This handsome boy originally came into the shelter as a stray back in 2018. Sadly he has been in and out of homes because of no fault of his own. Even though this guy has had so many humans let him down, he still holding out with the hope of taking home his own Super Bowl win and earn himself a Forever Home only fit for a champion. Block Head is a very outgoing guy who loves new people. He doesn`t mind seeing other dogs on his strolls but would prefer to keep the castle to himself. We think because he is so outgoing on his pack walks and saying hi to all the new people he meets, when he is enjoying his downtime, he wants to be the only MVP in the locker room. If you are looking for that quarterback to score the final touch down and make your family the champions of the block, then please draft Block Head for your team.

Story
We cannot image how come EMMY is constantly being overlooked. She is a 3yo, 40 lb Boxer mix.  She loves to be with her 'people'. She can be shy when first meeting new people but with patience she warms up. knows 'sit' especially when coming inside for her treat. She is crate trained but no longer uses it. She is house trained, goes out in the yard, does her business and wants to come right back inside. Unless, of course, you happen to stay outside with her. She does walk on a leash but is very strong which also has to be worked on. If interested in EMMY the a doption process consists of an application, home visit, contract and adoption fee. Adoptions are only within the NY, NJ, CT, PA area. If you are interested in a dog and live   outside these areas   contact us directly at wilmasorphans@hotmail.com.    Wilma's Orphans is a 501c3 Not for Profit rescue organization. Story
Dodge is an effusive, friendly dude, ready to make fast friends. He cuts a handsome figure, doesn’t he?! He will enjoy an active household that can give him plenty of exercise and that has some dog experience, as he needs to learn some manners. Dodge has a propensity to jump and get humpy when he`s excited, so he needs to learn how to master his baser impulses. He is pretty intense with other dogs and will likely try to hump other dogs, which will likely attract a negative response from the other dog. He may do best as the only animal in the household but with the proper introduction and good match, he could potentially have a doggie-housemate.If you are interested in meeting Dodge, please complete our adoption questionnaire and a shelter team member will reach out to schedule an introduction. https://hamiltonmcnj.seamlessdocs.com/f/AdoptionApplicationHamilton Township Animal Shelter cannot offer any guarantees on the age, health, temperament, personality or mental disposition of any pet. Found as a stray, Gordon is an exuberant, playful dude chock full of personality! He is ready to make quick friends with everyone he meets. He can get over-aroused in play and would benefit from some training so that he can learn to be a gentleman. He is uncomfortable with some handling and restraint, and he had difficulty with his veterinary exam. Gordon is active and will be best in an active, dog-experienced household. If you are interested in meeting Gordon, please complete our adoption questionnaire and a shelter team member will reach out to schedule an introduction. https://hamiltonmcnj.seamlessdocs.com/f/AdoptionApplicationHamilton Township Animal Shelter cannot offer any guarantees on the age, health, temperament, personality or mental disposition of any pet.
