Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He is a sweet playful pup that has done great with small and large dogs. He is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He loves toys and sticks to chew on. Howdy folks, my name is Highland and I am a very chill Boxer/Pug mix about 3 years old, only 27 lbs and I am a sweet, sweet boy. I get along great with everyone, a little shy with new people at first, but I’m great with kids, and make friends easily with other dogs and kitty cats. I was found in Von Ormy Texas, hanging out at a gas station where I was dumped. A few days later a very nice lady picked me up and now I am vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and ready to find a forever home! I love the outdoors and sunbathing on a pretty day. I’m not big into playing but will join in with the other foster dogs for about 5 or 10 minutes of fun, but I’m more of a kicked-back sort of dude who would rather observe or follow my foster mom around while she works. I think barking is silly so I don't do it. I’m well-behaved, and housebroken, and taught myself how to use a doggy door by watching the other dogs. I love walks and car rides and chewing on bully sticks. My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Those eyes!!! Meet Sky, the one with the soulful eyes. We are guessing she’s a boxer/pit mix of some sort. She’s just around 11 months old (as of early November). She is good with everyone - dogs, cats, humans, you name it. This bright girl is already house trained and will be getting spayed soon. Little Sky was found by a good samaritan. She had cuts all over her belly and side and she was severely malnourished. She’s been in foster for the past 3 months and has now gained back her weight and is a happy, healthy girl who is ready for her chance at happiness in a forever home. Sky is currently in Texas, but if adopted, will be transported to the NJ area on our next transport. This 4-year old, 66-pound Box mix loves everyone and everything and isn’t shy about letting her feelings known. She has interacted with kids as young as two years old and has been utterly amazing with them. With human-like facial characteristics, it’s easy to forget Enigma is a dog. She enjoys car rides, she loves Starbucks, she likes toys, she appreciates treats, but most of all, she loves snuggles and cuddles. Yep, this angel is a love machine who likes being tucked in under a blanket at bedtime! Enigma is perfect on a leash and eager to go for walks. In no time flat, she’s learned sit, come, and no. Clever and attentive, if you tell her something once, she responds positively and remembers it. She’s even managed to pull down a gate with her snout…not to get into mischief but just for a little fun! The girl’s a whiz kid! Housebroken and well-behaved in the house, you’ll never have to worry about Enigma soiling the rugs or leaving her alone.
