Those eyes!!! Meet Sky, the one with the soulful eyes. We are guessing she’s a boxer/pit mix of some sort. She’s just around 11 months old (as of early November). She is good with everyone - dogs, cats, humans, you name it. This bright girl is already house trained and will be getting spayed soon. Little Sky was found by a good samaritan. She had cuts all over her belly and side and she was severely malnourished. She’s been in foster for the past 3 months and has now gained back her weight and is a happy, healthy girl who is ready for her chance at happiness in a forever home. Sky is currently in Texas, but if adopted, will be transported to the NJ area on our next transport. I was patiently waiting at a shelter in Tennessee, but it’s gotten crowded because of all the dogs displaced by Hurricane Helene. I came in a stray, and nobody has come for me, so now I'm thrilled that I was lucky enough to come to NJ and find you! Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He is a sweet playful pup that has done great with small and large dogs. He is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He loves toys and sticks to chew on.
