DUCKY IS in FOSTER NEAR HESPERIA CA She is a very sweet WHITE Boxer girl who weighs about 40-45 pounds. We rescued her from a high kill shelter, where she came in as a stray and soon gave birth to a litter of adorable brindle & fawn puppies. DUCKY is good with the Aussies in her foster home and has been great with other little dogs and with cats, rides great in a car and although very playful, she is gentle and well behaved. Ducky had a rough go of it having her babies in a cold shelter and she is a little thin and weary, eating plenty of good food and gaining needed weight. Pups have been weaned, are fat and healthy and have been adopted. Mommy is so so so sweet and gentle and would make an awesome pet to anyone. Her blankets are neat and clean and she is not destructive. Enjoys walking on leash and adores company and attention. A23257 Luscious is a white and brindle colored, approximately 2-year-old, 59-pound, spayed female, Boxer / Pitbull mix. She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 03-18-2025 due to the fact she moved to a new house that would not let her have a dog. Luscious is a friendly, timid and shy girl here in the shelter. She is still trying to figure out this shelter environment and why she is here. Our staff says she is a sweet girl who is shy at first, but if you give her time to warm up, she will be sitting on your lap for all the love and affection you will give. She was easy to leash with minor pulling during our walks. But she listens well and loves being out for a walk. She loves people and happily greets everyone we meet during our walks. She has had some training as will “sit” upon command. She shows no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. However, the previous owner says she has lived with other dogs. The previous owner also says she is house broken, and has lived with other dogs, but not cats or children. We would recommend a meet and greet if there are other dogs in the home as the 3 dogs surrendered together did not all get along. Luscious will be a loyal, loving companion in her new forever home.

Hazel was drop to me during the pandemic because the owner needed temporary help while moving out. The owner never came back and I decided to keep her. Hazel is a very sweet and protective dog. The issue is that she is extremely dominant to other dogs. She bullied constantly my pug at the beginning but now they get along . All other dogs she sees on the street are a problem for her. She becomes aggressive and will attack. She has nipped already two dogs in my apartment community. The last incident was to the HOA presidents Chihuahua. I love Hazel and she’s very happy for weeks at a time but changes as soon as she sees other dogs. I would not think of giving her away but I accept that I’ve been incapable to help her to overcome her aggressive behavior. Sometimes love isn’t enough. She would be fine in a home with no other small animals. She may be ok with bigger dogs. A firm but not cruel or abusive owner a must. I hope there’s somebody out there willing to enjoy my precious Hazel.

This handsome ~1yo love bug was abandoned in Spring Valley, NV, Nov 4. I have searched extensively for his family, but sadly no one is looking for this sweet boy. He is potty trained, loves walks, great in the car, and loves to play. He's super happy and just wants to please. Lots of full body wags, big smiles and always greets me with a toy in his mouth! He loves giving kisses and snuggling. He knows a few tricks and is very quick to catch on to new commands - very smart. No aggression and no resource guarding. He can be reactive on leash (could address w/training), but he's a sweet and playful social butterfly at the park or home - no issues with people or dogs. I don't know how he is with cats or small kids (no opportunity to test this), but so far he's loved everyone he's met and loves to play. He would be ok with dogs if introductions are done properly (he’s being fostered with dogs and is happiest with a playmate), but could be ok being your only baby if not left alone.

I originally rescued Gabbi during Covid. A couple was no longer able to care for her and I had a dog the same ish age so it worked perfectly. She was pregnant at the time and did birth 7 puppies. Gabbi is a beauty, she is about 5 years old. Potty trained and crate trained. Loves to play fetch for hours on end. But definitely not a outdoorsy dog, she doesn't necessarily love long walks. She does enjoy being out in the sunshine, and sun bathing. She is very loving, tons of kisses and cuddles. Enjoys being in your personal space. Gets excited and does still get the zoomies when she meets new people and or in a party setting. Also she is a vocal girl, when shes meeting people she will bark to greet them. She does notify if she hears noises or is scared. She has lived in a home with another female dog before and done well. She has been to a dog bark and done well. But these are not things shes done regularly so she would need some guidance and maybe some encouragement.
