Maddie (female)7 weeks - Boxer mixSurrendered - Unwanted litterDad - Boxer (53lbs) and Mom - Pit mix (45lbs)Placed by `best fit`. To be considered, apply in person at the shelter or online at newnodawayhumanesociety.org/adoptAdoption Fee: $150 (excluded from adoption specials)From foster:She is mostly potty trained, will whine in her kennel at night only if she has to go potty. All meals are eaten in her kennel and then she goes potty afterShe sleeps really good with a blanket over her kennel at night She doesn’t like to share her food bowl with others (because she’s never had to) although she has gotten better at sharing this last week. She plays loud and it sounds aggressive but she’s only playing and didn’t have a mama dog to teach her it’s to rough so when I notice she’s getting to rough I make her take a puppy time out She loves to be snuggled Great with kids, cats and dogs of all ages Be careful free feeding her as she gobbles it down very fast so I had her on 3 x a day feedingShe is great with baths and nail trims We call her Maddie Mae and she does respond to her name

To be considered, apply in person at the shelter or online at newnodawayhumanesociety.org/adoptAdoption Fee: $150 (excluded from adoption specials)From foster:Chloe is very laid back and loving. Isn’t afraid to show she’s the boss. Wants to be where you are. Has not been kenneled over night. She gets down and up with steps to use potty. She is half trained with puppy pads. Loves toys, blankets and tug of war. Requires specific diet. She gets shy and hides with new things but comes out quickly. She has a shoe getting and will run off with them chewing.Maddox is all boy. Wants to be the boss. Very loving but loves to rough house. Needs a few more mannerisms the little stinker. Loves tug of war, toys, blankets. Same with the steps and potty. He is happy to great you. They both want to be where you are. He also has been on the same diet and it works well for him. He is an in your face character lol. When they are bored or unhappy with being left to entertain themselves, they will shred puppy pads. This only happens when I leave and the kids are with them. I seem to be the factor. Both will need patience because they have always had each other and someone here for the most part. They will both put in whatever work and love the owner puts in. Both very smart and do try their luck when being redirected lol repeatedly. I have to remove them from the situation and redirect their thoughts with toys and then they are fine for a bit again. Very playful and rambunctious hopping and pouncing. Both throw tantrums very cute
