Hi! My name’s Houston. I'm a four-year-old boxer mix boy and kind of a beefcake at around 80 pounds. (I'd argue that it's all muscle, too.) One of the things I want most in a forever home is a human friend to hang out with, not doing anything in particular, just a couple pals spending time together. Wouldn't that be amazing? I'm a little shy at first, but if you'll give me a few minutes to get to know you, we'll be besties. And I promise to be your snuggle pup! Really, though, I’m way too smart to laze around 24/7. I know sit, down, stay, high five, orbit, between, and wait. Learning tricks is one of my favorite activities and I can pick up new ones in just a day or two. I love to run outside and play in water from the hose. In case I wasn't clear enough on that, I LOVE PLAYING IN THE WATER!!!. My favorite game of all is tug of war. (I'll even let you win sometimes!) I’m kennel trained, house trained, and am good at being left alone. In fact, I do some of my best snoozing in my crate while I wait patiently for you to come home. I’d do best in a home with older children because I’m still learning how to contain all my excitement around the little ones. Since I've been looking for a home for a while, I think I'd prefer to be the only doggo so I don't have to share. I’ve got so much love to share and I absolutely cannot wait to meet you! She is anxious when meeting new people. It takes some time and patience for her to warm up to someone. Gnome loves belly rubs, playing with her sister and our dog in the backyard and chew toys. Like a typical puppy, she likes to dig in the backyard and will chew on anything she finds, i.e., slippers. Gnome is learning to walk on a leash but can be easily distracted. She is house broken and is learning her basic commands. She would do well in a home with another dog. She has had limited exposure to cats but those interactions were successful. Gnome is currently being fostered with her sibling Patti. They have been together since birth and are extremely close. We feel it would be a plus if this bonded pair were adopted together into their forever home. But this is absolutely not needed! He currently weighs 80 pounds and is up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered and is currently on a heartworm preventative. Aries has a great personality and loves to be around humans. He is dog friendly and plays well with other dogs. Aries was cat tested and didn’t want anything to do with the cat. Stella is an almost 7yo pit bull mix. She loves her humans and will spend all day curled up on the couch next to you. At night, if you let her, she will cuddle up under the bed covers with you. She is very good with all humans, including kids. She has grown up around an 11yo and recently introduced to a new baby that is now 8mo without any issues. She has had anxiety all of her life and is currently on medicine to help ease the stress. We do have another dog in the house that she has gotten along with well until recently. Due to where we had to move to, she has increasingly gotten more stressed as she has gotten older. We have a lot of foot traffic with people walking their dogs. Which is why we think the aggression towards her brother has happened. She will be best suited for someone that has no other pets in the family and that has a low key life.

Dagger also goes by Dingy. She is a sweet, smart girl who needs special care when it comes to diet and skin care. She is on the Fresh Pet food diet and takes probiotics for her skin and gut inflammation. Her condition is getting better with the new diet and medicine. I love her very much but I cannot keep up with her maintenance. She is good with cats as long as cats are good with dogs, she will play with them and lick them to death. I will include her kennel and personal items, left over food, current probiotics and the vet information that i have so far.

Her jail mate raised and trained her until her adoption in October 2023. 🐾7 yr old female 🐾Housebroken 🐾Loves cats and humans of all ages (Best in a single dog household, but does love cats) 🐾Hates nail trims but loves a good shower 🐾Kennel trained Lily does well in the country and city. She is best on the leash, or otherwise in a fenced in yard. She will also use a doggie door and loves all things outside. Snuggles and loves all the time. After training and attempts to socialize around other dogs, female or male, she is not a good fit with the company of other dogs.
