Story
Meet June! June is a senior dog looking for a loving home with a comfy couch. Her DOB is 1/16/2016. She is a brindle boxer mix. At her recent foster home, June was described as the "laziest dog ever" LOL. She loves to lay on the couch while holding a toy in her mouth but also does like outside play time. She is good at entertaining herself. She likes other dogs but would prefer to be the queen as an only dog if possible. When she is eating with other dogs, she wants to check out all the food bowls and not everyone appreciates that. She is good with kids. She is a fence jumper BUT she never goes far and does come back. All our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks welcomes visitors from 9 am to 4 pm every day, with no need for an appointment. For additional details, contact us at havenozarksanctuary@gmail.com. To expedite the adoption process at the shelter, you can fill out an application at www.havenoftheozarks.org/adopt.

Story
He was rescued by a friend off the streets and they brought him to me. I just don't have the time and space for another dog right now and I'm leaving the country for 2 weeks. Hes got separation anxiety so he just needs time and attention. Hes a great dog. High energy around people but calms down quickly and is a great cuddler!

Story
I adopted Dunkin from Houston, Tx when I was a trucker. He spent 4 years on a truck with me until we got a home. He just turned 8 (March 10). Unfortunately life hasn’t been kind to me and I’m forced to find him a new home. Suitable home would be a big yard where he can run and play. To be honest, he is aggressive when it comes to strangers and other animals, especially cats. When it’s one on one or with people he’s comfortable with, he is a big baby. Once he gets to know you, he is such a loving dog, loves to cuddle. He wasn’t trained and that’s my fault. He does have a loud bark and gets aggressive. But, he makes an excellent guard dog. He stopped a break in once. I love him with all my heart but I do need to find him a home. He’s unique and hoping to find his new home.
