You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi my name is Rusty Briggs. I am a certified very good boy. I am a pretty mellow guy and love the company of other dogs. I have done well with a wide variety of canine friends and can play a great game of chase and wrestle. I am also content to just coexist. I kennel nicely, but also do well in a room by myself. I love attention. I do have a very sensitive side and can find loud noises and sudden movements a bit scary. I tend to pout when I am anxious. I really want to please people and have the most adorable underbite when I am thinking about things. Come and meet me today! Rusty Briggs is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. She is young and busy, but she is quick to offer you her belly for rubs. She does best with dogs similar to her size. She prefers to be in an adult only home. Malibu spent several months living in a shelter and it has taken some  time to acclimate back to living in a home. Malibu loves to go on walks and does great with loose leash walking with someone that will give gentle reminders. She loves being outside and playing chase with her foster brother. Story
Hi there, I’m Boomer Jr., but my foster mom calls me Boom! I’m a 6-month-old mix and a total lovebug. I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home!   I’m the goodest boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups.   I’ve been polite around cats and can happily share a home with them. I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Because of this, I’d do best in a quieter home without kids, as loud noises make me anxious.   I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me to zoom around in. I love my toys and have a funny habit of pulling all of them out of my toy bin and bringing them to my spot on the couch—my foster mom says it’s the cutest thing ever!   If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and fun companion, I’m your pup. I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventures together!       Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Hello Boxer Lovers!  Misun here but my foster family calls me Bruno!  I am an adorable 2 year old white male that is the calmest boxer you will ever meet.  I have all the fantastic boxer characteristics like giving tons of hugs and kisses. My foster family works from home so I really need a human that is home most of the time.  I don't like to be alone and hate a kennel.  I sleep nice on my own bed on the floor in their bedroom. Of course I would rather sleep in their bed but I am pretty big.  I love naps or "resting" with my foster mom and have to be laying right up against her.    A fenced yard and a mellow playmate would be appreciated. I don't mind cats if they don't mind me.  I walk okay on a leash but can be stubborn about where I want to go so I just stop. Sometimes my foster dad has to really push me to go the right way on our walks.  I am very tall and weigh about 75 lbs.  I sure don't know my strength so small children are not a good idea.    If you love boxers and are looking for a super sweet, calm, loving boy that can spend lots of time with you, I am your guy!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Hey, I’m Cherokee, I believe we can be best friends! I’m a Mountain cur, boxer mix but my momma thinks I’m just a mega mutt which is like the best breed ever in my opinion. I am such a sweet lover boy and who doesn’t love a lover boy? I love cuddles and my people. I am a typical puppy who loves to play. I love other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog friend. I am a smart pup who is kennel trained and doing so well on potty training. I hate the cold so when it’s cold out I struggle a little more. I do know I’m supposed to go outside but for real, can you blame me for having an accident here or there when it’s negative degrees out? Would you wanna go potty outside in this cold? I sleep through the night in my foster momma's bed and will not move or have an accident - I just cuddle up as close as I can get to her. I am very food-motivated and have learned to sit and then wait. I should be able to learn any trick you have the patience to teach because I would do anything for a treat. I’m basically the best dude ever and look at me -  aren’t I adorable?? Anyway, I can’t wait to meet you!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Hello! My name is Cyrus. I am a handsome boy with a HUGE heart. My ideal home is a place where I am the only pet for a multitude of redone but primarily so I get all the affection. I am a dog that loves my humans, and loves to have a routine. Everyone is constantly telling me how smart I am. I love going for car rides, playing ball, and lounging having some snuggle time. I am an avid movie buff and love a nice night in watching Netflix with a cozy blanket. Cozy blankets are a must have. I can be the biggest love bug you will ever meet, so despite the fact I don't care for other animal companions I think I am a pretty good catch. Did I mention I am super handsome? Well, at least that's what all these people keep saying. I tend to agree. Now that I'm older I have that distinguished gentleman thing going for me. If you think you might be the one I have been waiting for, fill out an adoption application. You will not regret it! I promise to win you over in no time. Story
Hi! My name is Beatrice. I am a tiny little character. I really really love when my humans are home with me as much as possible. Being alone is no fun. I get lonely. If you do leave me alone I need a strong crate that I can't break out of, but the rescue is happy to give my new home the one I use now. I have lots of energy and I love to go for walks and just enjoying the sunshine. I do well on a leash. I sometimes like to spend my afternoons catching some rays. The humans say I often look like I am contemplating life. I am really just dreaming of my new home. I get along with most dogs but I tend to play rough so it's really just best I be an only dog. Which reminds me, absolutely no cats either. I have an intense prey drive. Yea I know I have some issues, who doesn't? On the plus side I am actually really sweet. I love to just be with you and I will even give you kisses when you are sad. Story
Meet Ms. Nona! Pretty name for a pretty girl. Nona is crate trained, even if she decides to mildly protest going in. It's really only because she truly just wants to be with her people. Nona would make a great hiking or walking partner to burn off her energy. A fenced in yard is ideal for her. She would just love it! Nona loves to play outside and with toys... but plan on getting tough toys if you expect them to last long! She loves attention and snuggles, and to just be with her people. She makes a great Netflix marathon companion. Nona has mixed feelings about other animals and honestly needs to be the only pet. Since she hasn't been around children much, her fosters feel that she would be best with older considerate children. Overall, Nona loves and needs structure in her life. She needs a strong leader so she doesn't have to feel like the pressure is on her and she can sit back and relax. She is smart, inquisitive and enjoys learning. Overall, she is an amazing dog that is on the search for her right Fur-Ever Home... could that be you? Estimated DOB: 12/26/2021 Breed: Pit Bull Mix *breed not guaranteed* Weight: 64 lbs Good with Dogs: No Good with Cats: No Good with Kids: Older/considerate kids preferred https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FEHR/Dog Adoption Fee: $250
