Story
Hi, my name is Jackie. I am from Georgia. Meet Jackie - a wonderfully clumsy, moderate-energy young pup with bulldog snores and boxer antics (because of course she’s literally made of those two breeds). She’ll do a few joyful zoomie laps around the house and then immediately take a dramatic nap like she just ran a 5k. Jackie is fully potty-trained and sleeps peacefully through the night in her own bed. She knows sit, takes treats gently, and absolutely loves balls. She can be a little squirmy and unsure at first, but once she warms up, she melts right into you like butter in a hot pan. She may benefit from having a confident dog sibling to learn from, but it’s not required—she can thrive solo, too. Because she’s sensitive to sudden movement and startle responses, Jackie would do best in a home with older kids only. She’ll really blossom with gentle reassurance, structure, and routine. She may only be working with about two brain cells on a good day- but they’re the sweetest, most affectionate two brain cells you’ll ever meet. ❤️ Are you ready to give this snuggly little goofball her forever home?

Story
Hi, my name is Raven and I am from Arkansas! I am the sweetest girl ever. I am calm, gentle, and so so sweet. I LOVE to nap and cuddle up with my humans and go for strolls (I LOVE squirrels). I am very curious about other humans and puppers and love to say hi. I am a bit nervous about new things at first, but I just need some encouragement. My current humans leave me out when they are gone, and I LOVE to nap on the couch and play a little, and I don't make a mess. I do have some anxiety in a crate but am very relaxed and trustworthy when I have so much love to give, and hope it can be to you! P.S. I will give you ALLLLL of the kisses EVER!!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hobbies: Sunbathing, snacking, and surprising everyone with her newfound zest for life.   Cammy is in her  “retired but thriving”  era — the Golden Girl of the group who’s discovered that naps are great, but playtime with friends might be even better!   Once a quiet observer, Cammy has blossomed into a social butterfly (well… maybe more of a cozy golden bumblebee ). She now happily snuggles up with her 14 dog friends and joins in on the fun when the mood strikes — from gentle wrestling matches to wiggly tail wags that could melt your heart.   She still appreciates a soft bed, a warm patch of sunlight, and a steady supply of snacks, but she’s also learned that life’s even better when you share it with your pack.   Cammy’s the total package — mellow, loving, and delightfully playful in her golden years. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance best friend who can keep you company for naps  and  bring a little joy to your day, Cammy’s your girl.    Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. Story
Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Murphy is an 85&#226&#128&#145pound Boxer with the soul of a teddy bear and the self&#226&#128&#145awareness of… well, absolutely none. This big baby is two parts sweet and cuddly, one-part playful goofball, and 100% devoted to his person. He follows his foster everywhere, convinced he’s a lapdog despite being built more like a small ottoman. Murphy loves balls, tug&#226&#128&#145of&#226&#128&#145war ropes, chew toys, and anything that lets him show off his silly side. He doesn’t bark much, but he does have a whole vocabulary of grumbles, groans, and expressive noises to let you know exactly what’s on his mind. He’s a constant source of laughter with his big personality and even bigger heart. He’s potty trained, crate trained and knows several basic commands. He’s working hard on leash manners—he wears a gentle leader and is improving, but he gets very excited when he sees other dogs and can be a handful. He does well with his resident dog, though his enthusiastic, erratic “happy wiggles” can be a bit much for calmer pups. Murphy is friendly with new people, rides well in the car, and loves saying hello to everyone he meets. He’s affectionate, playful, and eager to please, making him a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys a big, goofy shadow by their side. If you’re looking for a lovable, hilarious, oversized cuddle buddy who will adore you endlessly, Murphy is ready to wiggle his way into your home and your heart. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Beau is the shy little gentleman of his litter, a 11-pound sweetheart who’s quietly collecting confidence one tiny victory at a time. When he first arrived, he wasn’t so sure about this whole “humans” thing — but now he trots over when you call his name, plops himself at your feet like a polite little gentleman, and waits patiently to be scooped up for snuggles. He is, in short, the world’s tiniest Southern gentleman trapped in a Minnesota puppy body. His two bold sisters boss him around like tiny tornadoes, but Beau takes it in stride. He’s a gentle soul who’d rather trot through a pile of leaves, find the perfect stick, and declare himself King of Autumn. If leaf piles were a sport, Beau would be the reigning champion, gold medalist, and undefeated title holder. He loves playing with his golden retriever foster sibling, enjoys gentle belly rubs, and is happy to curl up in your lap once his little adventurer heart is tired out. He’s crate trained, great with dogs, kids, and even cats, and has a sweet, goofy charm that sneaks up on you until suddenly… you’re smitten. Beau is still working on potty training and hasn’t started leash practice yet, so a fenced yard is best while he’s learning the ropes, or a home committed to teaching him! But he’s smart, eager to please, and full of quiet determination — the kind that makes you cheer for him when he masters something new. If you’re looking for a soft, snuggly, leaf-obsessed little buddy who will love you with his whole tiny heart, Beau is ready to be your gentle little shadow. **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void.  We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion.   Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application. We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Meet Daphne — 40lbs of pure, unfiltered, pitbull perfection with a special zest for life. If you’ve been searching for a dog with main-character energy and a strong commitment to keeping life interesting, your girl has arrived. Daphne's passions revolve around playtime. She's a tug-of-war champion and a squeaky toy connoisseur who will happily review (loudly) every toy you provide. Have too many toys hanging around? Toys that need breaking in? Squeakers on the inside that need to be on the outside? She can take care of that and all your custom toy destruction needs. When she's all tuckered out, don't forget to tune in for her rendition of particularly loud house hippo snores. Daphne is truly the life of the party, with ear positions so expressive they deserve their own TikTok account. Her zoomies rival a track star, and her sploots? Olympic-level. Please clap. Her hobbies are just as iconic:  Attempting to drink all the bath water before she’s fully clean. Proudly carrying her own leash on excursions, because miss independent's got this. Critiquing your cooking with the intensity of a Food Network judge. Accidentally bonking her adorable block head into every corner of your home, because spatial awareness is for other dogs. Daphnee is goofy, lovable, and bursting with personality. She’s looking for a home that can appreciate her silly spirit, embrace her chaos, and love her endlessly in return. If you’re ready for laughs, playtime, cuddles, and a daily dose of joyful nonsense, Daphnee might just be your perfect match. The Fine Print (aka: Daphne’s Disclaimer): This girl has zero comprehension of her own enthusiasm and may accidentally overwhelm tiny humans - a toddler-free home is recommended. Cats are a similar case, though she's proven to do well with dog-savvy felines. Kennel training is currently a work in progress; she approaches it with the same chaotic enthusiasm she brings to all things — like she’s the slightly dramatic heiress of her crate kingdom. With consistency (and maybe some snacks), she’s getting the hang of it. Daphnee will thrive with a confident, committed owner who can continue her training, reinforce structure, and help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. Meet This Sweet Little Lovebug! This 5-month-old puppy Lauren (Lala) is the perfect blend of playful energy and cozy cuddles. At around 10 pounds, she’s a petite girl who loves a good play session and then happily curls up beside you when she’s ready to rest. She’s wonderfully social and thrives around other animals. In her foster home, she lives harmoniously with cats and dogs of all sizes and she handles it all with gentle confidence and curiosity. She truly enjoys the company of her furry friends and would do great in a multi-pet home. Despite below-zero outdoor temperatures, she’s been doing great with puppy pad training, showing how smart and adaptable she is. She’s also kennel trained and settles well in her crate. She’s energetic but tires quickly, and when she’s feeling extra excited or a little nervous, she may have the occasional happy tinkle—something she’ll continue to grow out of with patience and reassurance. This affectionate, cuddly girl is ready to find a forever home that will cherish her sweet nature and help her continue to blossom. Could she be your perfect match?
