Story

Blue is a 8 year old boxer, pit bull mix from Florida and a big baby. I am unable to bring him to my new home due to going back to school, but I want to make sure he goes to somebody good who is going to take care of him as he gets older. Blue is a big cuddler. He loves to hang out and can be playful when he is in the mood. He loves to run and go on walks. He can be vocal sometimes, but only when something is exciting to him outside the window. Blue enjoys lounging around for the most part. I currently work from home, so he tends to just lie in bed and cuddle in blankets. Blue grew up with other dogs, but has gotten attacked severely causing a bit of distrust. He has not been around kids or cats, so unsure about how he would react. Blue has been trained for basic commands: (Sit, lay down, shake, spin), kennel trained, and house-trained.

Story

Ginger is so sweet and loves her people closest to her so much. She was adopted 9 or so years ago and found wandering the streets of Texas. She has no back ground history but it is clear she was in a dog fighting ring so this probably leads to her dislike to any other animal. She can be very territorial and does not like someone in her space when she’s relaxing or near her face if she gives warning signs. She has biten my niece a few years back and bite our cat a little bit ago. We plan to have kids soon and I would feel more comfortable not putting either party in harms way. It would be ideal if she had a home with no children and no other pets but an owner who can understand boundaries and dog signs and is aware she can be high energy and likes walks even if they might be extra work. Ginger is the sweetest dog she just has some behavior issues that our family cannot maintain anymore with children in our future and avoiding vet visits for our other animals.

Betty is a petite, sassy, loving 8 year old boxer mix that LOVES her people. She is the kind of dog that will follow you from room to room as you go about your day. She'll lay at your feet but would definitely prefer to be on the couch. We don't know much about Betty's history other than she likely had a rough go of things for a while. She was very skinny when she came into rescue and the fur on her haunches and belly was stained yellow. She is now living her best life in her foster home, getting all of the love and food she needs. While Betty can coexist nicely with other dogs, her foster mama thinks she'd prefer to be an only dog as every now and then, she can get a little salty with the other dogs in her foster home. She also prefers to meet dogs on her terms only. She does do very well with dog-savvy cats and kids. She has been making notable progress with her potty training, especially when she's on a schedule. Betty does perfectly fine in her kennel at night and when her foster family is away from the home.
