Story
Hi! My name is Naomi and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 1yr old and I've been at the shelter since November 8th.I am a very sweet girl who can be a little nervous meeting new people. It wont take me long with lots of snuggles and treats. I have not had the best start in life so I am looking for a very loving and secure home!My ideal home would be very loving and patient while I adjust to new situations and people. I came from a home that was not ideal so I am looking for lots of structure! I still have puppy behaviors so I will need help with the basics. Staff are unsure how I do with cats and kids. I did live with a dog but I can be picky with my dog friends and would probably enjoy a respectful dog friend! If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.NAOMI'S ADOPTION FEE: $325 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Naomi and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet! Story
Due to unfortunate life circumstances I will be needing to rehome Gigi. She is almost 12 years old, and very well house and kennel trained. She will come with her crate, bed, collar, leash, and bowls. I would recommend a home without cats or small children, although she tolerates them. She currently lives in a home with two cats, it has taken some time and training to get used to them. She has chased them in the past, but hasn’t hurt them that we know. As for children, she has done well with them in the past. Currently with her older age and some possible arthritis, a small child pulling and tugging on her may cause pain and anxiety. She is a great companion for the the right person and a good watch dog. We love her very dearly and would like to see her in a good home where she gets a lot of love and attention from her owner/ family.

Story
Gunner has been with me since he was a puppy and turned 7 years old in April. I got Gunner when I was single and didn't have any children while I was living in Kentucky and took him everywhere with me. He is such a good boy, listens very well and only cares to please the people around him. In the past Gunner lived with two other dogs and got along with both of them very well. He has a dominant personality, he was been boarded multiple times and always got praise from the employees and never had a bad report card or been in trouble for not getting along with other dogs. Since I got Gunner my life has change drastically, I now how a wife and two children with another on the way. Also my family and I travel for a living, moving from place to place. He doesn't get the attention a dog needs and Ive selfishly held onto him this long. He deserves to be with someone who will have enough time with him again and play with him. He is calm when asked but still has Boxer energy when time to play.
