How do you even begin to write about perfection? Miss Mary is exactly that. This sweet senior gal is perfect for so many families.Mary is pure happiness! Her tail has two speeds-slow wag or fast wag. She is truly happy to meet everyone-no one is a stranger to our Mary. Mary does great with other dogs. She`s lived in a few different environments and she`s definitely learned how to make the peace. Mary doesn`t feel the same way about cats. She does need a cat free home. A home full of humans-especially little kids would be her favorite.Mary may be on the older side but it doesn`t slow her down one bit. She`s the best toy destroyer in the house. She easily runs 5 miles with her foster dad. Mary`s vertical to grab a ball or frisbee can rival most NBA players. If you`ve been at dog rescue long enouigh, you recognize great dogs when you see them. Mary is just that-a great dog. She is happy, devoted, fun, outgoing, snuggly, sweet and is just waiting to be someone`s best friend. Is it you??Mary has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccinations. She has also tested negative for heartworm disease. Her adoption fee is $150.00 plus sales tax. Please submit an adoption application if you would like to add this girl to you family!

Meet Chip, a shy and loving 3 year old Boxer/Border Collie mix with a heart of gold. He is a handsome black and white boy with big warm brown eyes and a soft, expressive face. He recently started to smile, once he settled in to his foster home. Chip is a gentle soul who can be timid at first when meeting new people. He prefers to take his time getting to know someone new, and may retreat if he feels uncomfortable or overwhelmed. But once he feels safe and secure in his surroundings, he is a loyal and affectionate companion who loves nothing more than getting pets and love. Chip is a medium-sized dog who has a calmer energy level and is dog friendly without being overwhelming. Chip is also a good listener, and he responds well to positive reinforcement training techniques. With his gentle and loving nature, Chip would do well in a calm and stable home environment where he can feel safe and secure. He LOVES having access to his kennel which is where he goes to rest or decompress. Overall, Chip is a sweet and affectionate dog who would make a loyal and loving companion for the right person. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey everyone!  My name is Sugar (DOB: 8/19/2017), an adorable 50lbs Pit mix, but my foster mom calls me Ember.  You see, it isn’t that Sugar wasn’t a good fit for me, in fact, I truly am as sweet as sugar, but I came to my foster mom in really rough shape and since I didn’t respond to Sugar, foster mom thought it would be perfect to give me a new name for a new beginning; and boy have we had a journey. During this time with my foster mom, I have gone through 3 separate knee surgeries due to an ACL tear and one separate surgery for a lump on my toe that needed to go! Ha ha, that rhymes! Now that I am all healed, I am ready to finally find my new forever home! Now that all the boring health stuff is out of the way, let me tell you all about myself! I love doing so many fun and exciting things.  I love playing fetch outside, and it doesn’t matter what I’m fetching. I am all in! I take really good care of my toys too that they'll likely last forever.  I’m super food motivated too so you could likely teach my any commands you want.  There really isn't anything I wouldn't do for a good smelly treat, I would absolutely excel in an obedience class.  I love going on walks too, especially when we run into new friends! I just love pretty much everyone.  I even like cats! I have learned that some kitties are not interested in playing but others enjoy playing with me as much as other dogs. My absolute favorite thing in the entire world is when I get to spend time with my foster mama.  I love nothing more than getting pets, belly rubs, and plopping onto foster mom's lap for extra close cuddles.  She even lets me sleep with her at night and it makes me sooooo unbelievably happy that I curl up right against her back.  She really says I am truly the best cuddler in the world.  And if I’m not cuddling on the cough, I am probably sitting on the cough like a human. It makes me feel special. Now while foster mom says I am pretty much perfect, I do have one area that I still struggle with a bit. Now mind you, I have made leaps and bounds in this category but sometimes I still have potty accidents. These are few and far between if you follow some easy instructions: let me out regularly throughout the day, make sure you let me out as soon as we wake up in the morning and before we go to bed, and keep me crated if you leave the home in a special crate that foster mom can discuss with you in further detail. These simple things really prevent 99% of accidents. Also, did I mention, I easily go into my crate every morning before mom goes to work? So, what do you think, are you ready to add the sweetest, most amazing pittie girl to your life?  If so, I'm your gal.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Flex! I'm a pit bull mix who’s all heart, smiles, and sweetness wrapped up in one handsome package (seriously, have you seen these good looks?). The shelter guesses I’m around 4 years old (DOB Oct 2021), but age is just a number – I’m ready to be your loyal buddy for life! Why You’ll Love Having Flex in Your Life Champion Snuggler: I’m the ultimate couch companion and will keep you cozy with endless snuggles and slobbery kisses. Balanced Energy: I have just the right amount of energy to make me a fun buddy for outdoor adventures without bouncing off the walls at home. Smart Cookie: I love learning! I’ve mastered commands like Sit, Leave It, and Shake, and I’m working on even more. House-Trained Pro: No messes here! I’m great about using the potty outside and am a relaxed, quiet gentleman in my crate. Kid-Approved: I’m cool with kids and unphased by the little humans around me – I just bring the love! Important Details Leash Skills: I’m working on my leash manners and will need a family that can continue helping me with this. I’m a strong guy who sometimes pulls, especially if there are squirrels involved! A sturdy harness helps me a lot. Big Love, Big Energy: Sometimes I get so excited that I might bump into smaller family members. I don’t mean to, but a patient family who can help me direct my energy in a positive way would be perfect. On a Mission to Make Friends: I LOVE other dogs but need a little guidance in giving them space at first. I’m a fast learner, though, and I get along well with my foster brother. Arthritis: I do have some pretty sever arthritis in my right hip that was likely from some trauma in my past. I am on a pain med that I take once per day that seems to help. Those who I call my forever home need to help me from overdoing it with exercise. Swimming would be a great low impact activity for me. I might need surgery to repair this at a later date but for now, I am responding well to pain management. Why I’ll Be Your Best Friend I’m just a big lovebug looking for a family who can match my big heart. If you’re ready for a loyal, snuggly, treat-loving companion who will bring laughter and joy to your home, I’d love to meet you! Let’s make memories together.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, my adoption name is Genevieve but my foster kids call me Ripple, Rip for short. I am a very very good dog. I am potty trained, and go into my crate very well. I can sleep in a kennel at night but prefer a bed with a blanket and my human. Most nights I sleep with foster mom but probably would sleep with my 10-year-old boy every night if I could other than Fridays and Saturdays . I love hard, chewy toys, as I tend to shred the stuffed ones. I love walks even if we never get far because my nose is sniffing the ground the entire time! I love being outside, but also could nap the day away. I'm a great snuggler but my boy does call me a bed hog whatever that means. I do well with other dogs I like males more than females (submissive female she does great). Cats are fine as long as they don't bother me. I'm learning new tricks sitting, staying and laying down. I will chase bunnies and squirrels. The only thing we are working on is meeting new people. It just takes me a little longer to trust new people, but once I do I'm the perfect ideal girl. I am new to living in a house and being outside so I'm looking for a person or a family that is willing to work with me on new things. I am brave and will do it if you do it.
