I’m about 6 months to a year old and full of life, always ready for adventure. I came to Underdog when my previous family could no longer care for me, but now I’m loving my new foster home and learning all about my new routine. I’m a big fan of snuggling on the couch, but don’t let that fool you—I’ve got loads of energy to burn! I love my daily walks, and I’d thrive in a home where I can get regular exercise, like a trip to the dog park or some playtime in the yard. If I don’t get enough activity, I might get a little mischievous, so keeping me active is key to making sure I’m a happy girl! I also love chewing on bully sticks, playing with my Kongs filled with treats, and solving dog puzzle toys. I’m really well-behaved when it comes to leash walking, and I sleep well in my crate (although I do love my couch snuggles when I can get them). I’m getting close to being fully potty trained when I’m on a good schedule, but I’ll need a little more time and patience to perfect it. I also have a strong prey drive, so I’m not a fan of cats (sorry, feline friends!). However, I’m great with other dogs of all sizes and would love to have doggy friends to play with. I’ve been through a lot, but I’ve healed up completely from pneumonia and am doing great in my foster home. I absolutely love kids and enjoy going on walks and playing with my foster siblings. I greet other dogs respectfully and am always up for a fun game of tug or fetch. I walk well on the leash, so as long as I get plenty of exercise, I don't need a fenced yard.  I promise to be your loyal and loving companion! Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! P lease note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever.
