She is young and busy, but she is quick to offer you her belly for rubs. She does best with dogs similar to her size. She prefers to be in an adult only home. Malibu spent several months living in a shelter and it has taken some time to acclimate back to living in a home. Malibu loves to go on walks and does great with loose leash walking with someone that will give gentle reminders. She loves being outside and playing chase with her foster brother. Hi there, I’m Boomer Jr., but my foster mom calls me Boom! I’m a 6-month-old mix and a total lovebug. I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home! I’m the goodest boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups. I’ve been polite around cats and can happily share a home with them. I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Because of this, I’d do best in a quieter home without kids, as loud noises make me anxious. I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me to zoom around in. I love my toys and have a funny habit of pulling all of them out of my toy bin and bringing them to my spot on the couch—my foster mom says it’s the cutest thing ever! Hello Boxer Lovers! Misun here but my foster family calls me Bruno! I am an adorable 2 year old white male that is the calmest boxer you will ever meet. I have all the fantastic boxer characteristics like giving tons of hugs and kisses. My foster family works from home so I really need a human that is home most of the time. I don't like to be alone and hate a kennel. I sleep nice on my own bed on the floor in their bedroom. Of course I would rather sleep in their bed but I am pretty big. I love naps or "resting" with my foster mom and have to be laying right up against her. A fenced yard and a mellow playmate would be appreciated. I don't mind cats if they don't mind me. I walk okay on a leash but can be stubborn about where I want to go so I just stop. Sometimes my foster dad has to really push me to go the right way on our walks. I am very tall and weigh about 75 lbs. I sure don't know my strength so small children are not a good idea. If you love boxers and are looking for a super sweet, calm, loving boy that can spend lots of time with you, I am your guy! Hey, I’m Cherokee, I believe we can be best friends! I’m a Mountain cur, boxer mix but my momma thinks I’m just a mega mutt which is like the best breed ever in my opinion. I am such a sweet lover boy and who doesn’t love a lover boy? I love cuddles and my people. I am a typical puppy who loves to play. I love other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog friend. I am a smart pup who is kennel trained and doing so well on potty training. I hate the cold so when it’s cold out I struggle a little more. I do know I’m supposed to go outside but for real, can you blame me for having an accident here or there when it’s negative degrees out? Would you wanna go potty outside in this cold? I sleep through the night in my foster momma's bed and will not move or have an accident - I just cuddle up as close as I can get to her. Meet Miss Faith! She is a rambunctious, smart, sweet puppy. We estimate her to be almost 2 years old. She came to us from a severe neglect case, and was extremely skinny and unsocialized. She has come a long way since she was rescued, but still has a lot of learning to do. She loves her people once she trusts them, but has some insecurities, so slow introductions with people are key. She loves to snuggle, give kisses, and spend time chilling on the couch. She also loves to fetch and go for walks. Essentially, she is a puppy in a 2 year old body, that loves to love but has a lot of world to discover!! By the way she LOVES men, so if you are a guy looking for a new furry companion, she is your girls!!!Faith is curently in a board and train facility in LaCrosse WI (this is where her meet and greet will occur), where they are teaching her to trust new people. She does great with men and will give you a longing look until you decide to come over and say hi. She is slower to meet women, but if you avoid initial eye contact at first, and use her name with treats, she adjusts quickly. She has learned that fellow furry friends are a great thing and LOVES to play! She needs a low energy, confident dog as dogs with aniexty only feed hers. Additionally, we would also recommend a home without young children. She is so powerful, that littles may get knocked over during play time. We think with more training and discipline, she could settle into a home with older kids, but now she just has too much enery behind her love. Ideally, we are looking for a patient, disciplined adopter that can help Faith learn and grow the proper way to associate with her humans and canine friends. We know she can be a champion for her breed, and we want a family that will help her do that. She is a determined, smart, goofy girl that needs boundaries and rules to learn how life works and teach her the tools to be successful! Please at least consider a meeting to see if she is a good fit for you. We think she is truly a diamond in the rough, that deserves to have a loving family!
