Story
Hi my name is Opal. My birthdate is October 15th 2020, I am 4 years old. My owner got me when I was a puppy. Her schedule got super busy and can no longer have me. I am looking for a good home. I am great with kids and other dogs. I am very friendly, energetic, cuddly and playful. I would best be in a fenced in yard. I am currently microchipped with the address can be changed to my new owner.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Louise, one of our newest residents at the Mikey & Me Kennels for Happy Days Rescue. Louise is an 8 year old Boxer Mix, she’s a genuinely sweet and loving dog, and she’s endured more pain and sorrow in her life than any dog should ever have to. Louise was found in a home in Ohio when Child Protective Services was called to do a welfare check on children in the home.  But, as most neglected and abused dogs usually are, Louise has shown us that she is resilient, happy, loving, and excited to see what her future has in store. I took Louise to the Vet on Monday and she has come a long way since being rescued. She’s put on 8 pounds, she tested negative for Heart Worm disease, and her blood work showed that her prior anemia has been resolved. We are feeding Louise smaller amounts of food four times daily and her energy is good. After previously being locked in a bedroom with no food, Louise has been eager to go outside, take walks, engage in the play area, and to discover new things. Please help me find this deserving girl a forever home. There are people out there that are looking for older dogs and she will make a wonderful companion. She weighs just 36 pounds and she very much enjoys one on one cuddle time on the couch. If you would like to meet Louise, please submit an adoption application under her name at happydaysdogandcatrescue.org. Daniel DePew Mikey & Me   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Do you have tennis balls, like a lot of them, if not will you buy some? If your answer is yes than you might be the home for me! See I am simple girl but I do require lots of tennis balls!! I like other toys but nothing gets me as excited as having tennis balls! My foster says I am just a happy gal, that is good with all people even kiddos! I am house broken, but I may have had a couple accidents but I am still recovering from taking care of my 5 babies for the last several weeks. They all have found their forever homes and now it’s my turn. I was a great mom but my foster promised I never ever have to do it again, which sounds perfect to me! I really love my foster home. See, I also get alone time and have my own room, I have adults and kids who play fetch with me a few times a day. They all helped me get better on the leash, to come when I was called, I am actually even starting to learn how to settle down and watch TV. I would probably like to stay here but they have some big dogs here, I just don’t like when they get in my way. My foster thinks I will much prefer to be the only dog in a home.  I think that is true at least to start. The cats here don’t bother me. Did I mention my NEED for tennis balls, oh I did, okay. Well that’s all for now. Let lastdaydogrescue.org know if you want to meet me by filling out an application. &#226&#128&#139Click here to watch a video of Pu Litter Eevee (Mom).Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. November 4, 2024, 7:53 am

Story
Hi spark is a loving affected dog, he love to be with his owner ( will follow you everywhere)😍. He loves children but can be a wiggle butt but knows how to apologize ( the cuteness things). He at time like to be left alone and will go sit in his cage until he is ready to be bothered. Around 9 pm is his bed time, anytime after 9 I let him be cause he like his rest. He love his alone time with his human parents outside of his human siblings. He love to say hi to everyone.
