Story
Calling all Boxer dog fans! One of our amazing volunteers was curious about Nala's breeds, so she ordered a DNA test...we now know that Nala is: 53.4% Boxer + 27.2% American Bully + 19.4% American Pit Bull Terrier! Talk about three amazing breeds combined to make one 100% good girl! And, oh yeah! Her adoption fee is sponsored to an approved applicant! She is always so wiggly. You would've never guessed she came to us starving and scared. Let's not forget that she has the BEST smile and she is always cheesing so hard that she squints! She is so very sweet and is always so excited to come out and play! We like to describe Nala as an independent gal but also very loyal to people. She would do fine as the only dog but also has done well with other playful pups. Nala has done well with kiddos about 8ish and up. She loves car rides and is always looking out the window. She's such a sweetheart. Nala's ideal family would be one where she can join them for daily walks. She would also love to play fetch with tennis balls because that makes her so happy! She is the best fetcher ever! She also loves sniffing through snufflemats. Nala is a treat-motivated gal! Oh, and another amazing thing about her is that she takes treats so gently. She is about six and a half years old and is spayed.

Story
Just one look at this guy and you can't help but wonder why he was given the name Chicken? We do not have a clue. He is a senior guy looking for a home to spend out the later years of his life with all the comforts that a loving home will provide. Chicken still has a good amount of energy, but at the end of the day, he would simply prefer to curl up in your favorite chair, if you will let him, or a plush dog bed. He would do best with older children and a quieter lifestyle since that is what he had in his prior home. Come meet this guy and check out his big soulful eyes. Sage is a total sweetheart once she gets to know you. It will take a couple visits, but once she is familiar with you, she is quite a cuddler. Sage loves to go on car rides and walks. Because of her protective nature, she will need an experienced owner that has the time and patience to continue her training. Sage needs a home with a secure fenced yard, no children, and will need to be the only animal in the house.DOB 5/6/2020 42 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. They do not come more irresistible than our Poppy! She will surely pop her way right into your heart. She is young, vibrant, and ready to go to her new home. This boxer mix is working on her basic obedience skills and puppy manners. She has met some dog friends, but prefers dogs that are not too overwhelming. We do not know about children, but due to her size and energy older children only. A fenced yard is preferred.DOB 11/10/23 36 Pounds and GrowingI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
Hi, I’m Lola! I’m a sweet, goofy girl. I can take a bit to warm up to someone new, but once I do, I will greet you with a piggy snort. I would love a home with no cats, dogs, or small children. A home with a yard would be fun as well! I love to run around and play. I would benefit from attending a class or private session from one of our recommended trainers, such as A Canine Story, to continue setting me up for success. I really can't wait to find her forever home and make new memories!
