Story
Hello! My name is Koda! I am three years old, my birthday is October 2nd. I love spending my summer days in a big back yard playing, or snuggling up with my person under a warm blanket. I am a bit timid when it comes to loud noises, big trucks are scary for me so I prefer to stay home and play in my back yard! I've lived with other dogs and cats and got along with them well, I always love having playmates. I love people, I always get excited to meet new people and get their attention. I do get overly excited sometimes and jump on people, but I dont mean to hurt them. I love rubber chew toys, ropes, and playing fetch. I am looking for a good home with someone who has no kids, as I have never really been around them, and who will snuggle and give me scratches every chance they get. I am a very friendly, loving, and happy dog.

Story
Teddy is a 60 pound, 2 year old Boxer mix with the MOST adorable face !! He’s precious. His favorite activity is Snuggling. Precious. Also, he has the most pronounced and glorious RBF. It’s heart -melting. Also, his underbite is insanely cute. Teddy is a good soul with the best heart, and he is going to bring so much love and laughter to a very special home. He's a pretty mellow easy going dog. He is incredibly grateful for a warm bed and lots of treats after coming to us at just 34 pounds. Teddy is crate trained and house trained, and he does very well with other dogs !! Teddy is neutered and up to date on shots. His adoption fee is $250. Story
Meet Razzle Dazzle! We believe this cutie is about 2 years old. He is about 70 pounds. He is such a sweet boy and is a staff favorite here at Mapleview and the rescue! Everyone loves to be greeted by him in the morning and say goodbye to him when they leave for the day.   Razzle loves all people! He has done well with other large dogs he has met. We have not yet introduced him to small dogs. He does need a cat free home. He likes to play and has a lot of energy! Razz needs some training with basic obedience and leash training (he has quite a prey drive) but he is eager to please and smart, so just needs someone with time to commit to him.   We have discovered that Razzle has some allergies which is not surprising with his beautiful white coat and his breed. He came to us with some very sore and torn up paw pads and wounds on his legs. He does better with apoquel, which is an expensive allergy medication. We are currently trying a hypoallergenic prescription diet with him to see how it manages his allergies as a more cost effective option longterm. But, he is worth it! He is such a good boy and deserves to be comfortable!   An approved adoption application is required. The $250 adoption fee (payable by cash or check only) includes spay/neuter; microchip; dental teeth cleaning (if needed prior to adoption); vaccinations; heartworm and tick disease testing; fecal w/ giardia testing, monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention . Our adoption application may be found by going to: www.headinhomerescue.org; then click on the link to the adoption application. Dogs for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Proof of completion of an obedience class is required for all dogs following adoption. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.November 13, 2024, 9:37 am
