Story
Meet Miller – The Resilient, Happy-Go-Lucky Pup SOO Ready for His Best Chapter Miller’s story started with heartbreak - but he’s proof that good luck. resilience and love can turn everything around. Miller did not give up—his adorable ears and loving personality charmed the right people + he got himself a golden ticket to Sarah’s!! He had the surgery he needed, healed beautifully and has spent the last few months in a loving foster home — learning what it means to be safe, happy, and loved Now @6 mo & 35 lbs, Miller is a happy-go-luckyfun-loving pup who adores other dogs, is crate trained, and he is is doing great with housebreaking!!  His past may have been rough, but his future is nothing but bright cutest mixed breed pal with the best ears sweet fun & silly older puppyvery nice personality neutered, utd vaccines & microchipped ___________Available for adoption 2/27- apply today to  please remember we are all volunteers &  incomplete applications will not be processed Apply to FOSTER or ADOPT today & get approved to bring a dog home. Story
MY ADOPTION FEE WILL BE WAIVED FEBRUARY 17 - 23 AS PART OF THE MISSED CONNECTIONS ADOPTION EVENT !!! We are looking for a really special family for this dog, as his life up to this point has been anything but normal. He`s going to need experienced, dedicated people to help him catch up on all the experiences that he has missed. Below you can find some guidelines for what type of adopters we`re looking for so you can decide whether to come in to adopt! First, Frank doesn`t have much experience walking on leash, nor has he seen most of the world. Adopters will need to be able to provide a secure outdoor space at a home that won`t rely on leash walks for exercise and potty breaks. Keeping his world small to start will help Frank adjust to his new environment and get comfortable. Very young kids are likely to be too overwhelming for this guy, but we know every child is an individual. It`s possible he can live with kids who are able to give a dog the space they need to adjust, but Frank has shown fear around children in the past. Toddlers or kids who have a hard time giving space will likely be too much for him. Lastly and most importantly, we are looking for someone who is patient and dedicated. Frank has a long road ahead of him with house training, leash walking, and life in general, but he has so much love to give. We are looking for folks who are ready to step up and put in a lot of work to get him where he needs to be. Please come with all your patience and understanding. Our small staff is doing our best to move quickly while also making the animals` wellbeing a priority! Dogs will not be available for general viewing, as our kennels are closed to walk through traffic to reduce their stress. We will have more dogs available in the coming days and weeks, so stay tuned here for updates on those!

Story
Cash is and 8 year old, 57lb boxer/pit mix. He came from the south up to MA at 2 years old. He is extremely loyal and sweet to his family and people who are close, as well as great with children of all ages. (He currently lives with children ages 2 and 12). He is playful, loves walks, but is also a couch potato and loves to sleep and cuddle. Cash LOVES a good human to lay on and if you’re in bed he’ll get right under the covers with you. He can be nervous and vocal towards strangers if approached without confidence, but he is confident if you are confident. He does not like other dogs and I would suggest he be the only pet in the household. Cash, like most pits, suffers from environmental allergies, so he receives allergy shots quarterly each year for his comfort. He is on a standard dry food diet and comes with no health problems. He is house trained, crate trained and extremely food motivated (but not aggressive). This boy deserves a great home and loving family.

Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes.
