She is looking for an active, patient family who is ready to shower her with love and is excited to continue her training.Hennifer has typical boxer mix energy, where she loves a good play session and will crash hard for a nap after. She's an absolute cuddle bug. She adores playing with other dogs! She'd do just fine with or without a canine sibling and would make a great candidate for doggy daycare. Hennifer's basically ignored cats in her foster homes, so she'd do well with a dog-savvy cat in the home. Because she loves meeting humans (small and big) alike, she'd do best with dog-savvy kids who are able to give her some time and space to get to know them. She is fully crate trained and is crated occasionally during the day and overnight without any issue. She is mostly house trained and will continue to thrive when taken out on a consistent schedule and routine. She walks wonderfully on leash and enjoys her daily walks around the neighborhood.Hennifer's a vibrant gal who's zest for life will likely have you falling in love with her in no time- is she the one for you? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. All dogs are otherwise posted until they are officially adopted. Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Could your family be the one Herbie's been waiting for? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 11, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
Bailey is the sweetest, most loyal girl you'll meet. I adopted her about 3 years ago from East Coast Canine Rescue and she was by my side ever since. She loves to lay in the sun, walk on the beach and be wherever you are. She is a huge cuddler and will be a couch potato if you want to do that on a lazy Saturday. She will gladly go on a long walk if that's the plan for the day as well! She adores treats and belly rubs and LOVES to play. About a year after I adopted Bailey, I adopted another dog and it was going well for a while - until it wasn't. Unfortunately, we have learned that Bailey really needs to be a single animal pet. She has a territorial nature and being with her adoptive brother has put her in a permanent anxious/dominant mode where she is constantly on edge. She has snapped (and fought) with him now more than once and I just don't think this is the right environment for her anymore. It breaks my heart but I am hoping to find her the best new home with new doggy parents!

Story
Hype is such a sweet, loving baby boy. He is 7 months old. He brightens everyone’s day, insisting on saying hello to everyone he comes across. I have never seen the slightest hint of aggression. He is AMAZING with my 3 yr. old. He goes most days with no accidents in the house. Although I did know puppies were a lot of work, I am realizing just how much responsibility a puppy is; and with a 3 yr. old as a single mom, it was more than I am capable of handling. With that being said, There is no reason I am rehoming him other than my own reasons - nothing to do with him. It tears me apart that I cannot keep him. In a new home he would need lots of love/attention. Probably at least one child. Lots of running space.

Santini has excellent manners and is house trained and crate trained. She would love to show off everything she has learned including sit, stay, down, and heel (for a treat of course)! Santini is happy to fit into her humans' routine and picks up quickly on new commands. She is very accommodating, walks well on a leash, and corrects/redirects easily. Santini loves to play, but is also happy to hang out with her people around the house.Santini would do best as the only dog in the house with an experienced dog owner who can maintain consistent boundaries and expectations to help her succeed and feel reassured. She is an athletic gal who loves to chase after balls and show off her signature ‘hopping prance’. She would love to have a fenced in yard or a local fenced in area so she can show off her moves! When she has finally expended all of her energy you can find her searching for the best sunbathing spot to take a snooze in. Santini is a sweet, gentle soul who wants nothing more than to be loved and make you laugh with her goofy antics. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted.
