Story
Stella is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Stella is one of the most low maintenance fosters I've ever had the pleasure of helping find a forever home. From being a shy, scared, and timid girl to being confident, secure, and well-mannered, Stella has grown so much in the 2+ years I've known her; although the vacuum cleaner is still enemy #1. Stella has lived in all types of settings: in a busy city, in an apartment, on a quiet street, with dogs, with reactive dogs, and easily adapted to her home environment. She is crate trained and LOVES having a bed in her crate to curl up into a donut while you're at work. She knows every basic command like sit, down, touch, stay and is fully potty trained. Stella's favorite toy is a lambie, or something else that is tiny that she can carry around in her mouth. Once, she took care of an egg for 6 hours before it broke, she's the most gentle creature. Stella is made of love and French fries. There's nothing more that she wants than to be inside with her people, cuddled up on the couch with a show, or playing sous chef in a calm kitchen. She takes awhile to warm up to her people, but with some french fires (her favorite is Burger King), some space, and a bit of patience, she'll love you unconditionally and will likely knock you over from wagging her tail and wiggling so hard with excitement every time she sees you. Although Stella is a perfect girl in the home, on leash, and with other dogs, she is scared of human strangers, especially masculine presenting people, and will need a strong advocate to help keep her safe. If you're looking for a great addition to your calm and cozy life with unconditional love to give, Stella is the gal for you. Stella would do best living with queer folks, a home without cis-gendered men, without cats, and without small children. ATTRIBUTES: Stella has lived in foster with other dogs, but can not go to a home with kids, cats, or cis-gendered men. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
Good with: Dogs Not tested with: Cats, kids House trained: Yes Energy level: Medium Noise level: Some Hi, Im Gabby, but some people like to call me "Happy Dog" because I always seem to be smiling! Im a friendly and loyal pup who absolutely adores my people, and Ive got just the right balance of playful energy and calmness. I love short walks, car rides, and running around in the backyard, but Im also polite and well-behaved in the house. You wont catch me grabbing anything thats not my toy! Ive had an injury to my shoulder, so I walk with a cute little "hop." That just means I prefer a few short walks each day instead of long ones, but dont worryit doesnt slow me down too much! I can still go up and down stairs and love running around during playtime. Im a happy-go-lucky dog who enjoys fetch, zoomies, and hanging out with other dogs. I get along with most dogs, though I can get a little overwhelmed in big groups at the dog park. I know my basic commands like sit, stay, and come. Im house-trained, crate-trained, and can be trusted alone during the day if you need to go to work. I also used to get distracted by bikes and scooters on walks, but after some training, Im much better now! I might pull on the leash a little at first, but just remind me to "slow," and Ill listen. Id love to find a forever home where I can get short daily walks, plenty of love, and maybe some evening playtime. Im great for a first-time dog owner and would even do well in an apartment! If youre looking for a loyal, playful, and happy companion, Id love to be your new best friend! My foster guardian says: "My favorite thing about Gabby is her loyalty and goofy smile!" Likes: Toys, bones, scratches, sunbathing, morning walks, lounging on the couch, riding in the car, fetch, zoomies My ideal home: I am pretty flexible and would be happy in a variety of homes! I've happily lived in the city and in the suburbs, with other dogs and without in the home thanks to my foster families. Story
This is Daisy Mae. She has a crooked smile, loves butt rubs, and the best cuddle dog. She is 8 years old, birthday September 7, which makes her a senior dog but she is still full of so much life and will run around and play fetch. She can be a little reactive in the sense she barks at other dogs and unknown voices. She means well and can get use to other dogs but with time. Preferably she goes to an only dog home. She does well with my under 1 son but unknown about children older than that. The only reason we are rehoming is because my son is allergic to her and we have been advised it’s best for his health she is rehomed. This is a hard decision for us as she is part of the family. I want her to go to a good home where she will experience the same love we give her and some more :)

Story
Musa, Mufasa, Mush, Mu, the cutie who goes by many names and is just a happy go lucky pup! Thanks to his foster family he is nice and healthy now, and just a bundle of love he wants to shower on every being he meets. He loves a nice walk, especially if it means squirrels and rabbits to dream of catching one day. His foster is working with him to be okay to greet everyone without abundance of enthusiasm that looks like some jumping, but it's hard for such a happy pup! Musa currently lives with another dog and does a beautiful job coexisting and understanding boundaries. He has the most beautiful markings of one tan ear, speckles of tan on the other and a freckled muzzle. At a healthy weight his coat is super soft and he is sure to give you kisses in exchange for pets. His sweet eyes will capture your heart in no time! With such a happy wagging tail he got a case of happy tail and has a spot that is healing up really nicely now that he has space out of the shelter kennel to move his wiggly butt around. Musa does wonderfully in the crate at night and when his foster needs to leave the house. He is also house trained and game for some snuggles after getting his zoomies out. Musa lives up to his nickname of Mush as he will make your heart a pile of mush in love with his playful sweet self! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Could your family be the one Herbie's been waiting for? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 11, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
Sonic is ready to get his boom back on! He is a handsome, inquisitive fellow who arrived here way too skinny. Poor pup has been struggling to get good food but now that he’s here, he’s making up for those lost meals. Sonic is a charming, super sweetheart in search of love and affection. And he so deserves that. He has been over the moon happy with all the treats and pettings we are giving him. What a VERY good boy. Can you help Sonic in his quest for soft beds, good meals, fun times and mostly, love? He’s ready to zoom off with you!
