Story
Introducing the delightful Aiden, a Texas-born sweetheart whose mother was rescued from the dog pound by a local organization before being transferred to Pennsylvania in April. Aiden, born on October 28, 2021, is a heartworm-negative, up-to-date-on-shots, and microchipped Boxer mix. Despite our best efforts to socialize him, Aiden remains quite shy, taking some time to warm up to new people and situations. However, once he does, he reveals his sweet, loving nature, coupled with an endearing silliness and playfulness, particularly with his foster family. Aiden is not only dog-friendly but also house-trained. For more details or to express interest, please don't hesitate to inquire. Aiden, this sweet boy, has been patiently waiting for too long to find a family to call his own.

Story
Introducing the beautiful Starlene, a boxer mix weighing around 50 lbs. Starlene's story begins when she was picked up as a stray with her one-day-old puppies. Despite her previous owner wanting only her and not the puppies, the shelter, faced with the option to euthanize the puppies, reached out to a rescue. The rescue, instead of euthanizing, took in both Starlene and her puppies. If you can offer a temporary foster or a permanent adoption for Starlene and be her companion until she finds her forever-loving family, she will be forever grateful. Despite her past neglect, Starlene is dog-friendly, very sociable, and loves people. This resilient cutie deserves a better life, and with your help, she can embark on a journey towards happiness and security.

Kipper is housebroken and knows basic commands like "sit". Please give Kipper a chance. He does not show well in the dog run. Once he is out you can see his normal happy and loving personality. He has not been around other dogs, cats, or children yet. Due to the breeding of Boxers, he may not do well with cats or small animals. Kipper loves outdoor activities with people, like going on walks, hikes, and fetch. Kipper is a big fan of toy chew bones and loves to lay down and listen to music! If you want a furry best friend to smile and listen to your favorite songs, come meet Kipper today at the Humane Society of Charles County MD!

Story
Stella is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Stella is one of the most low maintenance fosters I've ever had the pleasure of helping find a forever home. From being a shy, scared, and timid girl to being confident, secure, and well-mannered, Stella has grown so much in the 2+ years I've known her; although the vacuum cleaner is still enemy #1. Stella has lived in all types of settings: in a busy city, in an apartment, on a quiet street, with dogs, with reactive dogs, and easily adapted to her home environment. She is crate trained and LOVES having a bed in her crate to curl up into a donut while you're at work. She knows every basic command like sit, down, touch, stay and is fully potty trained. Stella's favorite toy is a lambie, or something else that is tiny that she can carry around in her mouth. Once, she took care of an egg for 6 hours before it broke, she's the most gentle creature. Stella is made of love and French fries. There's nothing more that she wants than to be inside with her people, cuddled up on the couch with a show, or playing sous chef in a calm kitchen. She takes awhile to warm up to her people, but with some french fires (her favorite is Burger King), some space, and a bit of patience, she'll love you unconditionally and will likely knock you over from wagging her tail and wiggling so hard with excitement every time she sees you. Although Stella is a perfect girl in the home, on leash, and with other dogs, she is scared of human strangers, especially masculine presenting people, and will need a strong advocate to help keep her safe. If you're looking for a great addition to your calm and cozy life with unconditional love to give, Stella is the gal for you. Stella would do best living with queer folks, a home without cis-gendered men, without cats, and without small children. ATTRIBUTES: Stella has lived in foster with other dogs, but can not go to a home with kids, cats, or cis-gendered men. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
We named her Promise because we had no more room on the transport to bring her and we told her that we would come back for her. We kept our word - and we are so glad we did. She had puppies at some point before she was dumped at the poor rural shelter, but she did not come with any of her puppies. This alone must have been awful for her to be separated from her pups. She was very shut down when we got her but now that she is in a foster home she is coming out of her shell and wants to play with the fosters other dogs. And she plays like a boxer which is so cute! Her foster mom says of Promise that 'she is super cute and friendly and just wants to be around me and my son.' She has very good house manners, ,does not chew, is great in a crate and is house broken. We listed older children because she seems scared of small children. We have told Promise that life will be very different from this point on she will have a home with someone who will love her and be kind to her. This is another promise we have made to this sweet dog. If you are interested in Promise, and helping us keep our promises to her, please let us know. Thank you for your interest in Promise! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=16323 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Promise, or to submit an online application. HART adopts to the local DC/VA/MD metro area only. Visit our website for more information about our adoption process.

Story
Bella, the Hound/English Bulldog mix, is a delightful 2-year-old with a heart that thinks it belongs on a human's lap. At 56 pounds, she's a sturdy companion who enjoys playtime and cozy naps. Bella was adopted at 8 weeks old and has since become house and crate trained. However, when she's upset, she might just have a "pee accident to make her feelings known-clearly, she's got a sense of humor! Despite her occasional mischief, Bella is as sweet as they come. She lacks any malice and gets along well with kids and other dogs. As for cats, well, Bella hasn't had the chance to meet any due to her current mom's feline allergy. Speaking of her mom, Bella's convinced she's part of the family too-sometimes boundaries blur when you're this loved. Now, Bella is on the lookout for a forever home-one filled with love, cuddles, and maybe a few extra treats. If you're ready to welcome this endearing pup into your life, Bella promises to bring joy and wagging tails wherever she goes! And about that couch-well, Bella's got her eye on a new one. She's hoping for a comfy spot to curl up, whether it's next to her human or right in the sunniest corner of the room. So, if you've got room in your heart and your home, Bella would be forever grateful for a couch to call her own! To set up a meet and greet please fill out our pre-adoption application at www.littlebeansorphanark.com
