They call me Exuberant, Handsome and Sweet but you can choose a new name for me when we adopt each other. I don’t care what you call me, as long as you call me. I’m a happy dog who loves people more than anything else in the world. I’m a 4+ year old mix, with a 22” collar and am very big and strong. The Vet said I weigh 73 pounds. Don’t let that scare you because I am just a mushy ball of love. I like to let everyone know how happy I am to see them by twirling around and wagging my tail as fast as it will go. This is usually when they call me Exuberant. I like to have fun. I’m such a good boy and I have good potty manners. I prefer being inside with people at night especially. Since I have a lot of energy and need exercise, your large fenced yard will be well-used. My foster peeps say I need a family, not a job. They know that I’m a quick learner and will be someone’s best dog ever. Because I’m big and young at heart, my new humans should have some experience with dogs and be able to work with someone of my stature. I promise I will try to do everything you ask enthusiastically. I don’t like loud booming noises (fireworks or dynamite) or gunfire but neither do most of my friends. Health wise, I am terrific; up to date on shots and tested negative for heartworms. Our dogs are fostered and located in North Carolina until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to your location or to one of the other north eastern locations. We have a cost effective transporter who runs every other week. This sweetie was born 12-1-22. She is a boxer mix. She is a bit shy until she gets to know you. However, she warms up fast. She likes everyone and is good with kids. She does well with other dogs but she does not like cats. She is potty trained and crate trained. She really is the sweetest humble soul ever! This pup is current in all age appropriate vaccines, preventives, heartworm tested and on prevention and microchipped. She will be spayed prior to going to her new home.The adopter will get all the health records with the adoption. We require a prescreen application to adopt. She knew this sweet girl needed a chance at life, not to have her life snuffed out before she's even gotten started. Daisy is a 'gem'...she's house trained, crate trained, according to her Inmate Trainer. She's been in a Training program at a Men's Prison and has already learned her basic obedience commands. She's learning about vehicle manners, how to load up. She knows about grooming and good care. She's good with other dogs, loves to play, still having puppy mannerism. Children are an unknown, although she's been around children at the Trainer's Kennels. A home with experienced dog owners and only older teenagers is preferred. Cats seem to be okay with her. She would be considered medium/large in size and will enjoy an active lifestyle. Hiking and play! Daisy's adoption fee is $300 to help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption. My name is Bella...so don't wear it out. I'm an 8-month-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix, so that still makes me a babe in the woods. I am told I'm a sweet girl, and who am I to argue with the truth. I apparently weigh about 32 lbs., and I'm a girl in good shape. I'm a workout warrior and yeah..I have a lot of puppy energy, and I know you wouldn't want me any other way. I came from Texas and it was a high kill shelter. I have no idea what I did to get put on death row. I'm not a hardened criminal at all but a sweet and lovable pit bull mix. I'm okay with other dog. This could be tricky as those litterbox loiterers. Always seem like nothing but trouble. I can be tested but their nine lives could be in jeopardy. I'm good with kids, and since I have a lot of energy this could be exciting. I'm crate trained and I guess I had practice, since having been in a high kill shelter .
