Story
This Bunny hops when she walks! A medium-sized female (about 45 pounds) and just over one year old, Bunny is filled with happy, youthful energy. Bunny is very social! She loves other dogs and her bouncy energy often exceeds that of her canine friends. Bunny also loves people and she would do well with a family, especially one with children who would run and play with her, and throw a ball. Bunny is very well-behaved in the house, and follows the rules. She is house trained and crate trained. She is food motivated, and is very easy to train. She loves one or two walks a day -- the more the better for Bunny!  Bunny loves to get out and about and meet people.  She loves to go "bye bye" and ride in the car. She has been to many events with lots of dogs and people around and has been very happy to be there.  She is a perfect dog for an active person or family - running, hiking, going to breweries or eating al fresco, taking weekend trips - she will happily go anywhere and wants to be included! Bunny is a wonderful, sweet girl with lots of love to give. ##2174636##

Story
Stella is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Stella is one of the most low maintenance fosters I've ever had the pleasure of helping find a forever home. From being a shy, scared, and timid girl to being confident, secure, and well-mannered, Stella has grown so much in the 2+ years I've known her; although the vacuum cleaner is still enemy #1. Stella has lived in all types of settings: in a busy city, in an apartment, on a quiet street, with dogs, with reactive dogs, and easily adapted to her home environment. She is crate trained and LOVES having a bed in her crate to curl up into a donut while you're at work. She knows every basic command like sit, down, touch, stay and is fully potty trained. Stella's favorite toy is a lambie, or something else that is tiny that she can carry around in her mouth. Once, she took care of an egg for 6 hours before it broke, she's the most gentle creature. Stella is made of love and French fries. There's nothing more that she wants than to be inside with her people, cuddled up on the couch with a show, or playing sous chef in a calm kitchen. She takes awhile to warm up to her people, but with some french fires (her favorite is Burger King), some space, and a bit of patience, she'll love you unconditionally and will likely knock you over from wagging her tail and wiggling so hard with excitement every time she sees you. Although Stella is a perfect girl in the home, on leash, and with other dogs, she is scared of human strangers, especially masculine presenting people, and will need a strong advocate to help keep her safe. If you're looking for a great addition to your calm and cozy life with unconditional love to give, Stella is the gal for you. Stella would do best living with queer folks, a home without cis-gendered men, without cats, and without small children. ATTRIBUTES: Stella has lived in foster with other dogs, but can not go to a home with kids, cats, or cis-gendered men. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Could your family be the one Herbie's been waiting for? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 11, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
Faith is a little over a year old and has lots of playful puppy energy! She would love a fenced yard for zoomies, and she loves to play with other dogs, too. She can play a bit rough and doesn’t always understand when the other dog is not so keen to play. She would do best with other playful yet patient dogs who can show her the ropes. She missed the early memos about jumping, play-biting, and pouncing on others, so she needs an adopter who can continue working with her on these behaviors. She’s also working on loose-leash walking and has the most adorable prancing step! She will notice other dogs and critters but can be redirected by talking to her. She loves to chase bugs in the backyard. She rides great in the car and would love to travel with you! This adorable pocket pittie also wants to be a lap dog, and will try to crawl into your lap when you sit. She does well in the crate for a few hours at a time. While she knows she’s supposed to do her business outside, she is young and still sometimes has accidents in the crate and around the house. She’s very curious and intently studies anything new in her space. She’s a clever, eager girl, and will flourish with someone who will bond with her through training. My Profile Age: 1 yr 3 months Weight: 35 lbs Good with kids: I’m good with kids over 12 years old Good with dogs: Some Good with cats: Unknown Fenced yard: Preferred Suitable for townhouse and/or apartment: I could live in a townhouse, but not an apartment House trained: Mostly Crate trained: Yes Barks when left alone: I’ll bark when you leave, but then I’ll settle down Chews inappropriate items: Yes Training: Knows sit, look, and touch, working on down, crawl, leave it, come Activity level: High I need an experienced adopter. Meet Me If you are interested in Faith, consider letting us know by filling out a (no-obligation) adoption application. Please consult our Adoption FAQ before contacting us. Please check the adoption-show-attendees page to see if Faith will be attending the next adoption show. NOTE: We are an all volunteer group and do not operate a shelter.
