I’m looking for an adopter that can and is willing to train him properly. Ember is a very sweet dog when he’s by himself, however with other animals I have noticed issues. He can play pretty aggressive with my cats and does have some food aggression with my other dog.

Tinsley is a 17 week of age Boxer / Hound mix. She is the friendliest pup on the block who seemingly has never met a stranger! She was found wandering in the woods in the mountains of TN and turned into a boarding facility which was going to take her to the shelter. Tinsley came here instead and she is now fully vetted to age and ready to find her Furever Family! Tinsley is doing very well on potty training and crate training. She is learning about personal space because her last environment didn't teach her any puppy skills, including good social graces! Tinsley loves to be with her humans and enjoys running around with other dogs. She also seems to be fine with cats - yes, she will want them to be her play partner as well. We think she will be just fine with children as well, although she needs to learn puppy manners so she doesn't knock them down. Hiking and walks would be a huge bonus for this baby and we would like to see her with a fence because of her love for just running around the yard! OSCAR is a 7 year old male boxer/hound mix. He currently weighs 52 lbs. Like so many others this year, he was found wandering alone. A kind person took him in to keep him safe. They fostered him for 6 weeks before handing him off to Adopt Me! This gave us valuable information on Oscar. He co-existed nicely with two other dogs and their children. He was left free in the house and never destroyed anything. He came housetrained. All this adds up to - he was someone's pet before being dumped. In order to find out every little quirk, we enrolled OSCAR in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program. Like the other dogs in the program, he thoroughly enjoys the one on one attention he gets from his inmate. He is learning his obedience quickly. As for his social skills, he's doing well there too. For his age, he still has plenty of pep. He has a beautiful brindle coat and a bit of graying around his muzzle. Just enough to make him look distinguished. He is not fond of cats and and with proper introductions, and the right canine companion, he'd do okay with other dogs. Oscar's best fit will be in a quiet, adult home. He must have a fenced yard as Oscar has a tendency to chase if he sees movement. Older children would be fine. If interested in adopting, our process begins with submission of our application. He is a one year old puppy who is full of fun. This sweet boy loves his brother and plays with him all day long. Finn is a gentle boy who enjoys being held and getting cuddles. He is very affectionate and longs for his furever home to have someone to give him the love and attention he deserves. Right now he lives on a farm and is used to being around horses, ducks and chickens. He learned very quickly how to sit and is now learning to walk on a leash. He would do well in a home with other dogs and older children. This little boy is already neutered and has a microchip. His adoption includes a collar and training leash as well as two training classes with our trainer for you to learn good leash skills, how to interact with other dogs and people, and how to be a good leader.
