All of her pups are long gone into their FUREVER homes and now it is SUZIE'S TURN!! Suzie is a smart and active girl. She has the nub of a boxer and the fun-loving personality of a retriever. Her ears are always perked up listening for fun to be had and she always has a smile on her face! Suzie is good with dogs, and children but at her size would be best with older kids. Suzie is also crate trained. This girl is the BEST at everything she puts her mind to... she will be your BESTEST GIRL, if you give her the chance. HURRY!!! She has waited long enough! I'm gonna make you an wo-offer you can't refuse. That's Pacino's favorite phrase. The adoption deal is simple: a roof over his head, a cold dish of water, daily meals and treats, plus an abundance of love. What? It's a good deal! Pacino, now over a year old, has become a true Dogfather. He is well-behaved, happy-go lucky, is very handsome, and has a wonderful, playful nature; he fits seamlessly into any family. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves. After all, a dog like him is an offer you can't refuse. Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Teddy is a sweet and playful Boxer/Shepherd mix. He's a little shy at first, especially in new environments. But with a 4 legged friend, Teddy will quickly come out of his shell. Whether he's zooming around the yard or playing a game of fetch, Teddy's joyful spirit is contagious. Teddy is not just about fun and games, after a fun day of play, Teddy will gather up his toys and bring them onto the couch for some snuggling. He's great with children, other dogs, housebroken, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash, making him a well-rounded companion. Teddy thrives best with a four-legged buddy by his side. He's looking for a home where he can build his confidence with the help of a furry friend. If you're searching for a loving, playful, and loyal addition to your family, Teddy is the perfect match! Story
Hi! My name is Twiggy and I’m so excited that you’re reading my bio! I am a senior and I weigh fifty five pounds. I am a beagle boxer mix and I am the sweetest! I love to relax, it’s really my favorite thing to do and I’m super great at it. I spend a lot of time laying in my favorite chair. I am very low energy and I don’t really play. I do love walks when it’s not too hot. I also really like to go outside and check out the yard. I am housebroken and crate trained and I’m also really quiet. I like other dogs that are friendly and I don’t care about cats at all. November 4, 2024, 10:45 pm

Story
Violet, who knows the name Hela, is an adult Boxer mix who weighs about 40 lbs. She is good with older kids but should not be in a home with cats or other small animals. Violet is dog selective and does resource guard her food, so her ideal home is likely one where she is the only pet – but that is not set in stone. She is house broken and crate trained. While Violet is a total sweetheart, she is wary to receiving pets/hugs – some days she loves them and other days she would prefer to be left unbothered ( a total introvert in dog form!).November 4, 2024, 10:45 pm

Story
Bronwyn (knows the name Lily) is about 65 lbs, but could lose some weight. She is good with people and kids; she is good with cats(may want to play so a dog savvy cat would be best). Bronwyn does better with larger dogs with slow and proper introductions. She even used to go to doggie daycare and did fine. She should not be adopted into a home with smaller dogs. She did have hip and ACL surgery. So she does take a daily joint supplement which can be purchased over the counter. She is house broken, crate trained, and knows basic commands. Apply today to meet this gorgeous gal! November 4, 2024, 10:45 pm

Story
Meet Ford, a remarkable Bulldog whose presence is as powerful and steadfast as a mighty river. Just like the characteristics of his breed, Ford embodies kindness and courage, showcasing a unique blend of friendliness and dignity. Now you may not see it by looking into his gorgeous brown eyes, but Ford has suffered in his short life.... he came to the rescue from the streets with a HORRIFIC hernia on his back end, near his rectum. He required two surgeries to correct the hernia and allow him to have a normal life again. He came through with SHINING colors ;) With his well-muscled frame and low-slung stature, Ford is the epitome of a true bruiser, but it's his iconic "sourmug" face that represents his unwavering courage and tenacity. Despite his robust appearance, Ford is a docile and loyal companion, adapting seamlessly to any environment, be it the bustling city or the serene countryside. With Ford by your side, you'll experience the unwavering devotion and unmistakable presence of a Bulldog, a breed that leaves an indelible mark on your heart. Don't miss the opportunity to welcome this incredible Bulldog into your life, as Ford's unique spirit will bring joy, love, and an unmistakable charm that only he can deliver. Some basic information about Ford; he is male, a Bulldog mix, and is medium-sized (20-59lbs). Ford is not great with other dogs (or cats or other critters) and would be best in a home with either only adults or older children and as a single dog. But his heart will fill your home with all the love you need!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Meet Gayle, a 3-year-old female American Bulldog mix with a stunning apricot and white bicolor coat. Gayle is a high-energy pup who loves spending time with people. She's incredibly friendly and cuddly, always eager to share affection. While Gayle enjoys the company of people, she can be selective with other dogs and might need a patient and experienced owner who can help her navigate her interactions. She's a bit anxious and defensive around other dogs, but with slow exposure and gentle guidance, she has the potential to adjust and become more comfortable over time. We suggest a single dog home for Gayle. If you're an experienced dog owner looking for a loving and energetic companion, Gayle could be the perfect addition to your family. With a little time and patience, she's sure to become a loyal and devoted friend. Come meet Gayle and see if you can be the one to provide her with a forever home filled with love and understanding.
