Baxter is about 8 years old and is a big ol goofy boy who loves to play with his stuffy toys. He is a happy go lucky sort of boy, but can be protective of his people. Baxter is fine with some dogs and not with others so we would prefer he goes to a home with no other dogs. When he does play with other dogs he has a rough and rowdy play style that cam be overwhelming to some dogs. The ideal home for Baxter would be a quiet house without a lot of in and out traffic of non family members coming and going, a nice couch or dog bed for him to lounge on, a toy box full of stuffy toys and a privacy fenced back yard. He is not a dog that requires a lot of exercise so playing in the house with his toys or in the backyard should be fine for him. Buttercup was in our shelter for a short time before being adopted 4 years ago. She was recently found as a stray. From her earlier owner we learned that at that time she was potty trained and knows the commands Sit, Down, Stay, Shake. She enjoys tug and fetch. We don`t know what has happened in the time between then and now, but there is a good chance she still has that training or would pick it up again quickly. Buttercup is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and ready for a loving home that wants her forever!

Joker is a loving and loyal 6 year old male American Bully. He is potty trained, obedience trained (knows over 10 commands), and has had over 3 weeks of on-site behavioral training with Precision Dog Training (Patrick Mahomes' official dog trainer). He enjoys cuddling during the day, playing outside, chewing on toys, and is trained to sleep on his bed at night. Given his breed, he can be reactive around other dogs. Joker would do best in a home without other pets or children. He can display assertiveness and curiosity around new guests, but quickly becomes their best friend. I love Joker very much, but due to my illness, I'm unable to keep him and are seeking a new loving home for him to continue the second half of his life in peace and enjoyment. Joker needs an experienced dog person that will allow him time to transition.
