Alistair is a very sweet but timid boy that you have to build trust with. He is treat motivated and loves soft pets and affection. His large ears can pick up any sounds from across the shelter. He has a sweet puppy whine, but a big boy bark. He loves blankets and chew toys but will eat stuffies after a couple days. He is potty trained but could use some work on a leash. He does a happy spin and tippy taps when he sees his person and demands attention when you are near him. He hides behind your legs when he is scared but is brave enough to speak his opinion about whatever scared him. He is a vocal guy and gets along well with other dogs. Kids are amazing in Alister`s opinion, and he loves being their little shadow or chasing them around the yard. Cats on the other hand scare him and he rather be with his human or other doggo friends. He is opinionated and will throw a fit (whine and bark) when you love on other dogs longer than you loved on him. He loves playing with his partner outside and respects boundaries so far with her. Alistair is waiting for his perfect forever home!

You can tell from her smile that she is a happy girl who loves people and enjoys playing with other dogs. She would probably chase a cat if given a chance, though. She likes to be included in whatever you’re doing and loves butt scratches. She does potty in her pen overnight (oops!). She is cautious and shy around new people at first, but then is affectionate and playful. She is good with some dogs and is leash trained. She could be an indoor/outdoor dog, but an apartment would not be good.
