Story
Thor was brought in by the city of Iola and has been slobbering all over everything and filling our days with laughter. For having a lot of energy, he walks very well on a leash and is great at recalling and will often go back and “tag” his friend to come with. He is great with other dogs, kids of all ages and cats (though he is very playful and doesn`t realize his size). There is hardly a moment when he is sitting still, he’s always wiggling his butt at us or jumping like a kangaroo. Loves pools especially splashing us when we walk by, he also loves when you lightly grab his tail and tickle his bum. Patience is just one of his many great qualities, like waiting to eat till you walk away or not jumping up on you and sitting/ laying for pets. Thor is housebroken and when he is talkative, he’ll grumble at you and tell you all his opinions. We can’t tell if it’s just because he’s clumsy or the way he plays, but he’ll play smack a dog to get them to play with him. Thor’s adoption fee is $100 which includes his neuter, up to date on shots, deworming, flea treatment, bath, nail trim, and a microchip.

Story
We got koi from a dog kennel that raised boxers. Koi was the weakest one not expected to make it and we took him in too give him a fighting chance. He is four years old and full of lots of energy. Koi is very strong willed and loyal to his people stays very close to my daughter when she's playing outside. Koi needs a home where he can run his energy off outside that has lots of land as we are running out of time to provide that for him. He's been the best companion for my daughter but changes in life aren't going to allow us to keep him. He knows basic commands such as sit shake and speak but you have to work him up to it because it's more of a whisper. He's very loving as often you will find yourself with a large lap dog asleep on you. Koi isn't too much on cold weather either he's been inside his whole life .

Story
PALS is participating in NBC's Clear the Shelters campaign, and Misty's adoption fee is fully sponsored. She is 2 years old. You can tell from her smile that she is a happy girl who loves people and enjoys playing with other dogs. She would probably chase a cat if given a chance, though. She likes to be included in whatever you’re doing and loves butt scratches. She does potty in her pen overnight (oops!). She is cautious and shy around new people at first, but then is affectionate and playful. She is good with some dogs and is leash trained. She could be an indoor/outdoor dog, but an apartment would not be good.

Story
Jim is a real sweetheart of a dog. We rescued him out of necessity of him needing a home and vet care. He absolutely loves children and does well with cats, if they don’t run. Does good with horses and cow, however he is a chicken killer and that is the only reason we are rehoming him. Just can’t break him of it. He has been inside outside and does well with either. He is fairly well mannered but is only a year so still kinda puppyish.
