I am rehousing this girl for her most recent owner who became unable to get her outside at all and had Ava relieving herself indoors on pee pads placed on the floor––thus Ava is not really potty trained (we're working on it). This person had her for about 8 months. Before that, Ava was brought to the Humane Society as a stray. I have had her for about 3 weeks. I obtained a crate for when I'm gone during the day, and she appears familiar and comfortable with it. Ava has a beautiful disposition and will melt your heart. I have not seen evidence of an aggressive bone in her body. She loves all other dogs, and people. Ava is a loyal velcro dog to the person who is feeding her. She is snuggly and loves to sit on you, next to you, or as close as she can get. She will be perfect for someone who doesn't have to be away from the house much, and someone who has the time to work with her on potty training. She likes to venture off (jumps my 4-foot fence) but always comes back.
