Story
Gumbo was found wandering at a local park on 2/12/25. He was severely underweight(the last picture was the night I found him). I have been taking care of him and he is really a great dog. He’s not full boxer, but his body is definitely boxer. I took him to the vet on 2/15 for an exam and fecal test. Test came back negative for any intestinal parasites and giardia. The vet said other than being severely underweight, he looks good! I will be scheduling his vaccines and neuter as soon as I can get an appointment. He is doing well with house training. He is a total cuddle bug. Does amazing in a crate. He does well on a leash. I am unsure how he is with other dogs or young kids. He is friendly and excited to meet new people. He is showing to be a quick learner and is very food/treat motivated, which is great for training!

Story
Myra`s compatibility: Dogs - Meet and GreetCats - Passed her cat test!Kids - Loves older teens 16+!Meet Myra, a gentle soul who just needs a bit of extra love and patience to feel secure. She’s had a tough time finding her confidence and can easily become overwhelmed in new environments or around unfamiliar faces. Loud noises, sudden movements, and crowded areas are all things that make her feel uneasy. Myra`s fears and insecurities won’t disappear overnight—she’ll need a special family who understands that her journey will be a lifelong one.But behind those timid eyes is a dog who wants so badly to trust and love. She just needs someone willing to take things slow, letting her explore the world at her own pace. With the right guidance and a calm, quiet home, Myra can blossom into the loyal, loving companion she’s meant to be.If you think you can be the one to show Myra that the world isn’t so scary, please consider giving her the chance she deserves. And if you have other dogs at home, bring them by for a meet and greet—Myra would love to meet her future siblings. Myra is ready to find a family who will see her for the beautiful, brave girl she’s working hard to become!

Story
Neo`s Compatibility:Dogs - YesCats - YesKids - An adults-only home would be the ultimate fit for NeoLooking for someone to laugh with you, comfort you when you’re down, and always be in your corner? Neo’s your guy.Currently thriving in a foster home, Neo has been showing off his softer side. He’s living peacefully with a dog-savvy pup and aced his cat test at the shelter, so he’d likely do well with the right furry roommate. Whether he’s making you laugh with his goofy zoomies or melting into your lap like he was made for it, Neo is all about being close to his people. He loves hard and snuggles even harder.Neo’s ideal home is adults-only—not because he’s difficult, but because new faces and unfamiliar situations can make him uneasy. But once you’re in his circle? You’re in for life. He’s loyal, affectionate, and the very definition of a velcro dog.If you believe the best relationships are built on trust, patience, and deep connection, Neo might just be your perfect match.

Story
Tank`s Compatibility:Dogs - SelectiveCats - Looking for a feline-free homeKids - Yes, 10+`A crinkle a day keeps the boredom away.`— Tank, probably.Say hello to Tank! He’s four years old, completely charming, and rocks the most lovable underbite you’ve ever seen. Tank is house-trained, crate-trained, and genuinely enjoys his crate—it’s his personal chill zone. He’s also a total cuddlebug who thinks laps are fair game, no matter his size.Tank loves toys, but crinkle toys? Those are the ultimate. If it makes a crinkly sound, he’s all in. Hand him one, and you’ve made his whole day.Walks are one of his favorite things—he treats every outing like a mini adventure. He’s strong and enthusiastic on leash, especially when other animals catch his attention, so he’s working on channeling that excitement with a little help from his people. Because of his barrier reactivity and handling sensitivities, he’d do best in a home with kids 10 and up who understand when he needs a little space. He also has a bit of a curious streak and loves to explore, so a secure home and yard will help keep his adventures safe.Goofy, affectionate, and always up for some fun—Tank is the kind of dog who makes every day brighter (and maybe a little crinklier). Meet him today!
