    Monty 18 months old, good boy, takes a bit to warm up. Monty was adopted as a puppy during the shut down from COVID. When things opened up, his adopter surrendered him to animal control - due to no time. Since Monty's formative months he was in quarantine with his adopter and was not socialized well. He just needs a home to help him be the best he can be.  Once he knows you he is a great boy with lots of energy to run and play :) We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments.   We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home.     This handsome guy is Blu, Boxer, 5ish years old, great boy! Blu would do best as an only dog or with a submissive female, no cats, no young children. He is protective of the ones he loves so hiking would be good for Blu but, street walking not so much. We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Jax enjoys playing fetch and will gladly sit for treats! Jax needs help with leash manners, as he likes to nip at the lead. AWL currently uses a chain to transport Jax from his kennel to outside play area. Jax is looking for his best friend. Could that be you? Seeley was found potentially hitchhiking on US 40 and brought to our shelter. We estimate him to be 8 yrs old and he weighs around 54 pounds. Staff describe his energy and medium high so a household where children are 12 or older would work best for him. He`s okay around female dogs and hasn`t showed interest in cats. The one thing Seeley is known for is being strong. He`s stayed in great shape while at our shelter.

Clyde is a 70 pound sweetheart. He`s a little shy at first but if you just give him a chance he will warm up to you and show you his true personality. He loves to play with toys. He listens to instructions very well, but needs an assertive instructor. He can be energetic and plays too rough to be placed with children under 12 years of age. He tends to be more gentle with women when it comes to toy behavior. He loves tennis balls and playing fetch! He is not a fan of cats, but previously lived with a female dog and may do okay with female dogs. Clyde needs a lot of space to run and is waiting to find his forever family!
