Buster was found running down the road. We found out that he was adopted from a shelter, but the lady couldn't keep him, so she gave him away and apparently, they didn't want him either. He's a good boy just looking for his forever family. He is 5 months old and gets along with everyone. These dogs are being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

At 3 years old, this handsome pup has already faced his fair share of challenges, but his resilient spirit shines brighter than ever. After being the longest resident at the local shelter, Jager is now on the lookout for a forever home where he can thrive and flourish. Though he can still be a little shy when meeting new people, he warms up quickly and thrives when he feels safe and connected. He’s happiest just being near his people — whether that’s helping with yard work, keeping an eye for the intruder squirrels, or cuddling on the couch. Jager is potty trained, great on a leash, and gets along well with other dogs with introduction. He can stay in the house confined in his room with the gates, we did not use crates🐶 Jay is a "ladies dog" he will go straight for the cuddles when he hears a beautiful female voice🥰 Jager *loves* people—he’ll lean into you for cuddles and affection. He does great with other dogs in the play yard and enjoys zooming around the outdoor area. A sweet, active, and social boy ready for a second chance! Jager would do best in a home with children 15 years old and up and will require a fenced in yard. Jager is available to adopt in the Chicagoland area and is being fostered in a home. I am a big soft lug who wants a porch, a sofa, and a human who likes slow pats on the head. My energy is just right. I can hang out, go for a walk, sniff around the yard, then come inside and settle next to you. I walk well on a leash. I do not make things hard. I like being easy. I dont want any ruckus. I get along with male and female dogs. I am a gentleman until someone tries to boss me around. I do not start trouble, but I also do not let pushy dogs run the show. I usually get along best with female dogs. Having said that, I have a rescue buddy (male) here and we do great together. We move at the same pace. We enjoy the same simple things. So I guess, like you humans, it's if our personalities get along! People say I am the kind of dog who makes life feel calmer. I am not loud. I am not clingy. I am just present. Meet Brutus 💙 Brutus is 5-6 years old and is a deeply affectionate, people-loving boy who thrives on closeness with his humans. He loves cuddling, being petted, and will happily sleep next to you at night. Wherever you go, Brutus is likely to follow — often carrying his favorite soothing toy in his mouth for comfort. Brutus knows basic commands and is fully housebroken, which makes settling into a new home much easier. He enjoys playtime, especially tug-of-war, and he takes his toy destruction job very seriously (squeaker toys beware!). He walks well on leash and does best wearing a harness, ideally a front-clip harness. He may pull a little and can bark when he sees people out on walks, but he recovers quickly and continues on. This behavior appears to be excitement or uncertainty rather than aggression, and with consistency, patience, and positive training, it continues to improve. Brutus is not a fan of being confined away from his people. He will voluntarily rest in his crate when it’s open and his human is nearby, but being crated while left alone is stressful for him. He would do best in a home that understands this and is willing to help him gradually build confidence with alone time. With stability, routine, and love, Brutus truly shines. He is a cuddly, loyal companion who bonds deeply and brings a lot of joy to those around him.
