Iris is the sweetest 6 year old pitty mix. We adopted her at 10 weeks from Huntley Animal House. She is well trained, loves to snuggle, run, and bury herself in pillows to nap. She has a big back yard to run around in, and the squirrel that resides in the tree, doesn't like her speed. She does get anxious during thunderstorms, if there are fireworks, and during hunting season (gun shots). She does not like play fighting or chaos, and is highly protective of her family. Especially the kids (two teenagers that she has been raised with). She has never exhibited any aggressive behavior towards humans. Deciding to rehome her has been the hardest decision to make. Unfortunately, we have two other dogs in our home, and in the last year, she has started picking fights with our Great Dane and American Bully, putting our family in an unwinnable situation. It is very clear she needs to be in a one animal home, where she can be loved and be the center of attention.

She would do best as an only animal. She has a very strong small animal prey drive so do not recommend small dogs or cats of any kind. Alice aka Allie loves to go on short walks and get all the sniffs in. Allie would prefer a home as well that doesn't require her to do alot of stairs. ##1886567##
