Esther is 45 pounds (needs to lose a few pounds of baby weight) and 1.5 years old. She loves people and she loves chewing on her bones. She's not a barker, digger, or climber. She always uses the doggie door to potty outside. She gets along with most dogs, but I don't know how she is with cats. Esther would love to have children to play with after she receives training. Story
Needs a companion dog in the home Miesler “Meezee” came to Needy Paws with several siblings!  We are told she is Australian Shepherd/Boxer mix.  Her DOB is 12/14/23 and she weighs approx 45 lbs at 10 months old. Miesler is black with highlight of white on her body and her adorable brindle legs!   She will be a perfect medium size dog when full grown.    She is initially shy but very affectionate once she settles in which has not taken long at all in her foster home.  She housebroke and is crate trained, good with other animals of all kinds, and good with older respectful children. She is a rambunctious player so is likely too much for toddlers or younger.  She graduated from our Pups 4 Paroles program in October.   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
Eichel, is a very handsome boy!  He is a 11mo Aussie / Shepherd / Boxer mix, about 70#.    He loves to play and eat and he’s very well mannered.  He loves his people, but would also love to have an active furry friend.  His favorite time of the day is EVERY morning.  He would love to spend his mornings with his new forever family.   I graduated from the Puppies 4 Parole program through the Mo Department of Corrections and I love to make my person(s) happy. The program helped me with my social skills and I also learned many basic commands that I would love to show off to my new family. He's a happy guy and always has a smile on his face.   Not sure about cats or kids/small children.   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
** Danica will need Companion Dog in the home and do best with a fenced in yard ** Danica “Danny” Patrick -Boxer/Australian Shepard -10 months old -gorgeous brown and soft. -Sweet, affectionate, goofy, obedient, smart, playful, she is timid and still getting used to outside noises while on walks and she needs to have a fur sibling to show her the way and build up her confidence. She came from a home with over 12 dogs, so a companion dog is required for her to help her feel safe. -Moderate energy. She loves to search for bones and toys to play with but also likes to take it easy. She’s needs a 6 ft fence because outside noises can spook her. -House and Crate trained. However she’d prefer to sleep in the same room with you. -Good in cars. -No barking as of yet. - Danny is a bundle of joy who’s loyal and loving to her family & fur friends. She plays very well with others. She just needs someone who will be understanding/patient because she is apprehensive and timid while on leash or sometimes off leash at the dog park. She knows sit, stay, paw, lay down and plays fetch as she graduated from our Pups4Parole training program. She is super keen on anything you say to her and remembers cues from the first time. Could you consider helping this sweet girl to blossom?
